Klein Tools CL120VP Electrical Voltage Test Kit with Clamp Meter, Three Testers, Test Leads, Pouch and Batteries

Got my testers yesterday and immediately wanted to test them out. The batteries that came with the testers did not work....so had to go get some batteries. The testers work really well.

Bought this kit about a month ago or so, and the non-contact voltage tester (the one that looks like a pen) doesnt work. It just doesnt turn on. I tried the batteries that came with it and other new batteries. Nada. The outlet tester seems to work, and I used the larger clamp voltage tester today and seems to work fine. Just disappointed with the piece that doesnt work right out of the box.

Today I received my 2nd CL120VP kit from Amazon and found myself with another DOA meter. The original order was returned because the main meter was DOA when I received it (maybe). The original was opened batteries installed at their proper polarities and when I turned the dial...nothing. Replaced with fresh batteries same issue.

The title basically says it all its Klein made right here in America and is a quality lifetime guarantee tool. For electricians you only see a few brands of tools. If its not Klein, Greenlee, Ideal, Southwire, Rigid, Fluke, or Milwaukee, then its not in a professionals toolbox
