Wow! The shipping on this item was incredible. I believe that I placed the order in the afternoon and it was at my door the next day in rural Illinois outside of Chicago. I have a couple of outlets that were giving me fits, so it seemed appropriate to upgrade my whole electrical diagnosis kit at the same time. The GFCI tool is a quick and easy way to verify that an outlet is working correctly, while the non-contact voltage tester keeps me out of trouble when I start opening up boxes and panels around the house. I have not had an opportunity to use the the clamp yet, but I have every reason to think that it will perform up to what I have come to expect out of Klein tools. My only criticism is that not everything that comes in this kit fits in the provided bag. It is of little concern to me though, as the products that I need the most just get tossed into my toolbox in the garage.

I bought this item for the clamp meter and the non contact voltage tester. It’s a bonus that the other tools are included in the package. The clamp meter does everything that the DIY and most trade electricians need to do. The clamp amperage tester is great for measuring the draw of an appliance or trouble shooting wiring on a car to find out what is drawing down the battery. I use the non contact voltage tester every time I open a receptacle box or switch box to double check that the power is turned off. I plan on using the GFCI tester around my house to check that the wiring is correct on each outlet. I own other Klein tools and they have proven to be well built and versatile!
