Klipsch AW-650 Indoor/Outdoor Speaker - White (Pair)

I love Klipsch, we have them in our media room, I have the old Klipsch Horns as my front speakers and other legacy units in my 9 + 1 system, so I figured for our screen room I would use the AW-650, Wow are they kick butt, Thank you Klipsch !!!!

Purchased these speakers April of 2019. When they arrived, I was worried that they were a little on the big side. Once mounted they looked fine. I have these mounted to the soffit / overhang of my roof. I ran 14 gauge wire to the 2nd zone of a Yamaha receiver. Considering the size, they were easy to mount the C-brakets and then I was able to easily slip the speakers into the brackets and tighten. They can then be turned to the desired direction. As for volume, they can get VERY loud on a 100 watt per channel receiver - like, everyone in the neighborhood can tell what song you are playing kind of loud. Even at high volume, I didnt notice any distortion and the bass is very good. These speakers especially have very tight punchy mids and sharp highs. You might not get the very low frequencies that you hear from a dedicated sub, but these still sound fantastic.

I paid almost 100 more for twhat they are selling for now. And would recomend at the price. you will find no beter outdoor speakers in this price range. They are bigger than they look and the horns dispurse the sound widly perffect for out door application. Look no further. grab pair while you casn. and add a chep sub with themoney you save.

You can light up the back yard with these babies. Loud and proud. I have these on a 80 watt Yamaha receiver and they are really awesome! Not sure my neighbors feel this way.

Installed 4 of these under a 16X40 Palapa with a Denon receiver pushing 125 watts per channel and the neighbors enjoy my music also ! lol

I bought the Klipsch AW-650 to pair with a Sonos Connect:Amp. My concern is that the Sonos player products are such great quality that I would be disappointed in anything else as an outdoor solution. I was wrong to be worried. The Klipsch / Sonos combination sounds GREAT. Because the Sonos player grouping mechanism allows for a flawless A/B test, I can tell you that a couple of Play:1s compared to the AW-650 are like night and day. The Klipsch fill up my entire patio with sound, and -- true to form -- the Klipsch tweeters really sparkle.

I have purchased many outdoor speakers and none compares to these. These are the absolute best.

Better then I thought they would be! Super happy with this purchase! Just replaced my Bose 251 outdoor speakers. These just left my Bose in the dust!!!

I purchased 2 pairs of these speakers for my outdoor bar area and pool area. I am amazed at the sound quality especially when I turn up the volume. There is no distortion at all and the full range from low to the highs are very chrisp. I would recommend these speakers to anyone looking to share their music with people in the next county.
