> 3 dayIt cuts rusty nails with ease. But it takes quite a bit efforts to cut new and big nails. I used multi tool to cut a notch to weaken it and then used this tool to finish the job.

> 3 dayI bought these to pull out nails out of my old trim boards. Theyve a great bite to the nail with easy way to leverage the nail out. Is there cheaper ones out there, yes. Im a buy a nice tool once and spend a little more.

> 3 dayI have been using then to cut small nail off and weaken 10 penny nails so I can put vice grips on them and back and forth them. Am remodeling an old house. They feel good in your hand. I have not pinched myself with the grips (yet) so I am leaning toward the opinion of good design.

Greater than one weekI have used a lot of different tools for clipping nails, but this is by far the best. Even the big name brands dont work as well. I used this to clip nails recently in a basement before installing radiant floor heating. I clipped upwards of 100 nails in each 16 framing bay of a 1000SF footprint home. that is many many thousands of nails. This tool doesnt have so much as a chip in the cutting surface. Do keep in mind that the hardened cutting surface WILL chip if you pry on a nail and lose grip allowing it to slide. The harder metal is more brittle in this direction. The higher leverage point and offset cutter helps read awkward areas more easily. From flooring nails to standard 3 nails, and even up to 4 galvanized Nails. This tool does the job. I would say the protruding remnant is 1/32 or less when this tool is used against a flat surface with easy access. This can easily be ground flat or left alone depending on your need.

15-11-2024Threw out 2 pairs of cheap-os that would barely cut a nail. This one cuts like butter, I’m impressed. Just used to trim all the errant nails on a 2- story shed build and it’s amazing to me how easily these cut.

> 3 dayThese pliers do the work I bought them for. I pull nails and staples with them. Sometimes I use them for cutting nails and staples. The crown head makes it easy to pull nails with little effort. The grip makes them easy to hold onto and use with one hand.

> 3 daywhen roofing my house a few of the sheet nails missed the studs. i bought these to cut the missed nails off and they did not disappoint. They cut almost completely flush to the surface and after cutting about 50 nails there is no noticeable deformation or damage to the blades.
