Knit Picks Options Wood Interchangeable Knitting Needle Set - US 4-11 (Sunstruck)

Bought these for my wife after searching through Amazon. The pics looked good and she loved the look. We ordered expecting them to be not as colorful as the pictures. We were wrong. Beautiful coloring, she has been using them non stop since they got here and is just in love with them. Any other needles she needs We plan to get from here.

so i got these today and immediately opened it and started swatching. So far, so good! Sooooo good! nothing seems to be out of place. the needles are super smooth. I tried bamboo needles once and hated them so i swore off wooden needles. i bought these because i wanted to try square needles, and i am so glad i did! these are so nice and smooth and warm. they feel nice in the hands (though i dont have any stress injuries or issues with the round needles *yet*) The square needle has also helped my gauge quite a bit-now my stitches are super even ( i am loose knitter for the most part). i am pretty thrilled with this purchase.

These are nice and smooth, just like the Nova Platina cubics. The square needles are more comfortable. I just wish they were available in sizes above 11.

Bought these as a gift for my stepdaughter! She taught herself how to knit and uses them to make blankets for homeless and sick people.

Nice smooth needles.

These needles are amazing! This is my first set of bamboo needles and am in love with them! Stitches slide easily across the needle, which is wonderfully smooth, the join is practically seamless, with no snagging of the yarn. The point is perfect and does not split the yarn as I am used to aluminum needles doing. The cable is very flexible, rather than the stiff cables that came in my set by Boye. The colors are an added bonus that I love. The colors are layered and look great. The only downside to this product is that it doesnt come with a coupling to be able to create longer cable length. There are, however, ample end caps, as well as two keys. In addition, the vinyl storage envelope is divided to keep the needles organized and you can quickly see which needle you need. Wonderful set, and I cant wait to get the rest of the set, as well as the crochet hooks!

I knit a big swatch and love the coziness of these wood needles – I love how they feel in my hands; they are smooth and gorgeous, with a pointy tip that knits beautifully. Compared to other sets, this one comes at a good price point. But Im a beginner knitter and, in my inexperience, thought this one would supply me with all of my BASIC knitting needs for making a sweater – i.e. all of what I need to knit the body, neckline, sleeves and cuffs. Alas, not. The cables in this set (cord with needles attached) are too long for the small circumference of a neckline (and will be too long for knitting sleeves and cuffs). It appears a 16 inch (or shorter) length (from needle tip to needle tip) is required for small circumferences, and after having spent a heart-pinching $88 I now have to buy additional needles of appropriate length to be able to start my project.

I have always loved nitpicky needles. I purchased the interchangeable set because I was going to knit my first sweater and would need multiple needle sizes and cord lengths. These needles are awesome. One thing to note, and it is like this with any set of interchangeables, you need to use the key when tightening down the needle. If I dont use the key they come loose but when I use the key they dont!
