> 24 hourThe biggest advantage of this device for me is the agnostic file format support. I specifically got this e reader because it supports DRM free formats like epub, and it did not disappoint. Not only is it super easy to transfer epubs from a computer (with or without calibre), but it also has a built in web browser so you can download books directly from a server. Other Pros: - USB C charging is great - adjustable light temperature w/ auto adjustment based on time of day - no ads on the Home Screen! - built in overdrive support - supports dark mode - battery life well exceeds 1 month Cons - no black color option, only dark blue So much happier with this over a Kindle, and I don’t have to worry about Amazon selling my library and reading data or getting bombarded with ads when all I want to do is read my books.

> 24 hourThe Kobo reader can render ePubs where Kindle readers do not or can not. That was Amazons decision. It was a deal breaker for me. The Kobo Clara 2e is everything I expected and more. I dont think anyone can go wrong with this ereadrer for the price. The only thing that I dont like is the price of eBooks on the Kobo store. they are considerably more expensive. I dont know why. So, I dont use the Kobo store.

> 24 hourIm beginning to love this ebook reader. I load my books using calibre ang it works fine. You need a bit of patience because loading sometimes takes awhile. It has bluetooth but only works for headphones.

> 24 hourVery easy to read and battery life is outstanding. I used it an average of an 1-2 hours a day for 11 straight days and the battery was still at 40%. I bought this after my sone and wife raved about theirs and they were right.

> 24 hourI really, really, really love this eReader. The more I use it, the more I like it. Everything really is a matter of taste, but heres my 2 cents on Libra 2 vs Clara 2e: I originally bought the Libra 2 and the Clara 2e came out about a week after... I really liked the fact that its Waterproof, but I wanted something pocketable that would feel comfortable in my hands and I wasnt sure if the reader would feel too big. Sure enough, the more I used it, the more I started to think that I should have waited for the CLara 2e to come out instead. Also, the screen rotation, which I thought I would love was actually annoying and I ended up disabling it. If I tilted the eReader a bit while reading, it would flip the text on me and I had to wiggle it to fix the orientation. Another thing that I really didnt like, that I thought I would, were the page buttons... I didnt like that extra bezel where the buttons live. It made it awkward for me to have to worry about which way I was holding the reader and holding it in Landscape Mode wasnt good for me either - yet another thing I thought I would love. Weird... So, I returned the Libra 2 and got me a Clara 2e and freaking LOVE IT. What I love about it: - Im not tied to the Kindle Ecosystem anymore (drop any non-DRM ePub, text file, PDF, html, practically any format (except Kindle). - I can even drop books from my Android Phone directly into the Clara with a USB-C to USB-C Cable - Clara 2e is a bit cheaper than the Libra 2 - Its waterproof (same as the Libra 2) - It fits perfectly in my hand - It doesnt rotate the screen - I have no buttons to worry about - No wider bezel on one side to keep track of - Its the perfect size for my taste - Its kinda pocketable - in jeans back pocket or side cargo short pocket - Battery Live is incredible - I do not miss the extra screen size of the Libra 2 - I never read PDFs - its better to convert them to ePUB with an online converter (your success may vary here) - Pro Tip: Use https://pgaskin.net/kepubify/try/ to convert your ePUB to kepub and fix image clicking and other issues In the end, its all a matter of personal taste. What works for me may not work for you, but I hope this helps someone make a decision one way or the other. Whatever floats your boat...

> 24 hourAs with every Kobo weve owned, this one is a solid device. Ive got it loaded down with a few epub files and signed it in to our library accounts. Its a lot smaller than I was expecting, but Im coming from an 8 inch device. Amazing the difference two inches makes when it comes to an ereader. No complaints. I imagine itll last throughout college for my son, then be passed to little brother like his old Kobo is.

> 24 hourI bought this for myself because Ive never had an ereader and books are getting more expensive. I also live with too many people in a small space to have books everywhere! This allows me to read whenever I want and is easier on my eyes than using my phone or computer.

> 24 hourI bought two Claras and both freezed up in 5 - 7 months. I never will buy a KOBO again. So disappointing. They are good if they work. But you have to consider if it is worth the money......
