> 24 hourI like the kobo products but I wanted to upgrade to audio also so I chatted before I bought was told I could use my own audiobooks turned out that is not true so now I have wasted 120 I already had a kobo reader. They need to train employees better thats why I check before I bought

> 24 hourA step up from my last reader of 3 years ago. Faster processor so more responsive however battery life is less so needs charging more often

> 24 hourI was a person who always thought e-readers were not for me. Tried this oke because traveling carrying books can be uncomfortable and also wears them. Have to say that now I love e-readers. Battery life is really good and its really comfortable to read on this device. I like that it is small because I use it for travel too, you can probably carry it in your back pocket if you wanted to. But for me size is perfect for house reading too. I added a picture so you can have a better idea of its size. Overall, if youre thinking about buying an e-reader you cant go wrong with this. I would also recommend getting the cover that they sell for this

> 24 hourIronic that I’m writing this review on Amazon itself, but I’m trying to get *away* from using most Amazon services. I got myself the Clara E2 to replace my Kindle Paperwhite, and it’s perfect. Easy to set up, integrates seamlessly with Overdrive/Libby, and I love that it can also play audiobooks and has bluetooth. Highly recommend if you’re trying to get away from the Kindle ecosystem.

> 24 hourExcelente tamaño y peso (menores que Kindle Paperwhite 2022), pantalla muy legible con gran contraste y con luz anaranjada para proteger la vista, además excelente y hermoso diseño. Y no solamente permite leer y guardar libros, sino también artículos de la app Pocket.

> 24 hourIt’s a very promising reader, hardware and UI. But looking onto the software last update - Dec 2022 (6 month ago) - it seems Rakuten considers it to be stable enough. Unfortunately the stability is far from its competitor. During the only day of usage I noticed: chapters aren’t recognized in 80% of epub books (where kindle shows them fine), remarks are not supported (no reaction on tapping), books with 5000+ pages are slow to turn pages in (and one pretty huge epub even hanged and then causes reboots every attempt to turn the page while kindle digested it pretty well. I blame the pages counter in the footer. Need to admit Amazon kindle doesn’t even show that counter, which I frankly dislike, while Rakuten dares to support pages but without working around the performance issue). The font size is jumping up and down book to book. The most gaps are in the Cyrillic letters support - text renders fine, but you cannot select/highlight anything, and the read progress shows always 1%, and each 3rd page has one damaged word (like “da rÙolmaged”), and you cannot search - the keyboard has no cyrrilic letter. The pluses are there too: compact size, thoughtful UI (slide on the left to dim the light - very nice feature), decent light - cold and warm, usable dictionary. But the immature software spoils the good impression (Rakuten, maybe get Ukrainian QA engineers, not only they are diligent but can cover both latin and cyrrilic books)

> 24 hourI enjoy reading again. My old eReader was getting old, and not functioning the way it used to. I got this one to replace it, and I can enjoy reading again. The backlight adjusting warmth by time of day is a nice touch. The words on the page are crisp and clear, the touch is responsive. Its great.

> 24 hourMy primary source of books uses Adobe DRM and requires Adobe Digital Editions. This reader is advertised as one supporting Adobe Digital Editions/DRM, but it does not. There is functionality and screens for it, but they dont work. Search online, and you will see plenty of posts concluding this. Its a bummer because the device overall is pretty good, but I need to be able to open my books to be useful to me. The only other option is to use third-party software to remove DRM, but at that point, you could use a Kindle instead when you buy books from Amazon. I was very hopeful for this product, but I am very disappointed. Hopefully, kobo can fix this issue soon.
