Ive been using Portra exclusively for years, back when VC and NC existed. Although this is a hybrid of the two former models, I really like the overall result. Skin tones are great, color is balanced and you get just the right amount of contrast. Sometimes if there isnt enough light in dark situations, the film will tend to go a bit grainy, but thats the only negative aspect of the film.

The color on this Portra is unmatched for 35mm! The 400 speed works well enough in low light without too much grain. This is my favorite color film to shoot!
