Nice tape measure. It stays firm when I extend it far. Also snaps back easily.

Quality is good

bright color makes it easy to find, and it has enough heft to it you dont just lay it down and lose it

This product is fine-- easy to read, has metric scale, etc. But after only a few uses, the lock button stopped working, which I use for larger measurements when working alone.

Purchased on 8/6, nonfunctional yesterday 9/11, and after just one job. There was a lot of cement dust about, but I really barely used this, and yesterday it quit retracting.

Home Depot doesnt sell metric tape measures in their stores so you know what? Thats right, I go to the competition and this tape is the same quality of the ones you see at Home Cheapo. This tape is coated and rolls in and out very smooth. Yeah, its got a plastic body but at the price I got it thats alright because my son has this knack of being able to break the end of the tape off. Hes broken 2 now :(.

Why cant Stanley make a good, reasonably priced tape measure like this one?

This is a great tool and easy to use. I like the 30 foot length.. It arrived within the time frame given by the web site.
