Great heavy duty tape measures

When I got this I was surprised at how few metric/Imperial tape measures there were to choose from. This one is pretty good though. Coating on the tape helps keep it in good condition. Id almost prefer to have the metric numbers on the top side of the tape, because I use them more, but thats not a show-stopper. Its a good buy that gets the job done if you need different units for different tasks.

I wanted this tape measure due to its dual measurement scales. However, I was disappointed in the foot and inch scale in that it didnt have the feet measured every foot. It is a nice tape and it operates smoothly.

Without it you cant make accurate measurements, and if you cant measure accurately the quality of your work goes right down the drain. This is a quality tape measure. Durable, easy to read, accurate, and it will last you a very long time. Sure, you can buy a contractors tape at the bargain store for a lot less, and feel like youre saving money... until you drop it off a scaffold and it breaks in a million pieces. This one isnt going to break from a little abuse, and this one will still be retracting perfectly, long after the spring in the cheap ones breaks. Youll also still be able to read this one long after the paint and markings have worn off that cheap one.
