I bought this sprayer based upon other reviews, and others were right that this sprayer works, and it is easy to clean. It is great that it has 6 sprayer tips to use. This gives you a lot of flexibility. Definitely worth the money.

This sprayer is convenient for smaller jobs. Especially with rough and aged siding. This is the small shed we are going to paint.

I had never used a electric paint sprayer before so when I decided to guy this one it was all new to me. The product arrived nicely packaged and the directions were very easy and useful to follow. I had used a latex acrylic paint for the shed. It had to be watered down a little bit ( it actually called for the paint to be watered down) and it worked fine through the paint sprayer. The sprayer puts out a very nice pattern of paint and does a great job. Just remember to clean the paint sprayer when your done. Glad I bought it.

I am used to using my larger paint sprayer for projects but it requires cleaning after use which takes time. I plan to use this one for smaller projects so that I can clean it quickly. As a fellow DIY enthusiast, I recently got my hands on the KOVDON Paint Sprayer and wanted to share my initial thoughts. Although I havent used it for painting just yet, I gotta say, it looks and feels like it means business! The packaging was well-organized, and the instructions were clear and easy to understand. When I held the sprayer, I could immediately tell it was built tough. While I havent given the KOVDON Paint Sprayer a proper spin, I have a good feeling about it. It feels like it can handle different surfaces and projects. Im excited to see how itll deliver a smooth and professional finish when I finally get down to painting.

This is an excellent sprayer for small, medium, and large jobs. I tested it on several gates that needed repainting, (see before, during and post pictures). It did a good job with minimal prep and clean up for overspray because of a light breeze. Cleaning the sprayer parts was quick and easy, requiring only a little soap and water. The brush and cleaning needle worked well. I own a similar sprayer and this sprayer has one noticeable improvement. The spray nozzle is mounted in a plastic ring. This makes them easier to find, hold, clean and remount or replace in the sprayer. The ring and the sprayer are designed so that the nozzle seats tightly without having to screw it into place eliminating the need for a wrench tool, (one less thing to lose). My wife wanted to do part of the job and found the sprayer easy to use. With a full container of paint she found it a little heavy but manageable. Overall, she could handle the sprayer without much effort, but for comfort she would not fully fill the container, or just use two hands when dealing with a full container of paint. So yes, I would recommend this sprayer as a good economical tool for your house hold projects.

With the cost of materials going up, I really wanted to find a sprayer that wouldn’t break the bank. I totally hit the gold mine with this one! Not only is it affordable, it does such a great job!!! I love how easy the trigger is to use and control the output of your paint. It sprays very evenly. This is very well made and incredibly easy to clean. As you can see in the pictures, a black latex paint was used for this project. I was honestly worried about how hard it would be to clean. With very little effort, the little tools provided to help clean it gave me a brand new clean! Wow! As with any new tool, I do recommend first spraying a test piece to get a feel for how it sprays. The instruction booklet is very clear to help give you hints to paint like a pro. Highly recommend this product!

I got this to refinish my patio table with black rust oleum paint. I power washed the table and let it dry for a day, thinned the paint with acetone 15 percent per the back of the paint can, used the viscosity meter, then sprayed two coats with the gun out in the yard so I didn’t have to worry about overspray or mess. Worked great! Remember to clean up right away after using it. I had refinished with rattle cans in the past, which had left me with a surface that wasn’t the best. This puts down more paint and it doesn’t drip as easily. The new finish hid virtually all the imperfections from using rattle cans in the past.

Note: I am not a professional painter, nor have I ever used a paint sprayer before; Im just a generally handy person with a fair amount of power tool experience. I recently built some trellises for climbing flowers on our porch, and wanted to paint them to match. The idea of brushing dozens of tiny surfaces by hand didnt appeal to me, and neither did the cost of spray paint cans. Instead, I decided on this sprayer, and Im so glad I did! Setup was simple: pour paint into the paint pot, attach the straw to the pot lid (taking care to choose the correct orientation, as explained in the manual: towards the front of the sprayer/pot if mostly painting things lower than the sprayer, or towards the back if painting things higher than the sprayer), screw the pot onto the lid, plug er in, and go. There are several additional spray nozzles of various sizes included, and a guide in the manual to help you choose the ideal nozzle for your application. The sprayer does come with a special funnel thats meant to be used to test the viscosity of your paint (by filling the funnel, and timing how long it takes to empty). I didnt do any of that, wanting to get right to painting. I did notice the paint was a little splattery at first, but once the paint had warmed up a bit (it had come from my 55°F basement, and I was painting out in the 75° sun), the spatters turned into a perfect spray. I appreciated the ability to adjust the flow of paint by means of a convenient thumbscrew, matching it to the speed I felt comfortable moving the sprayer around. Changing the spray pattern is very easy as well - loosing the retaining ring on front, turn the nozzle guide to one of the settings (vertical oval, circle, horizontal oval–or anywhere inbetween), and re-tighten the retaining ring. Once I was done, cleanup was simple, following the directions in the manual. Unplug the sprayer and pull the trigger to allow any extra paint to flow back into the pot; pour out the unused paint back into your can. Disconnect the pot/nozzle assembly from the motor (depress the unlock button and pull), then rinse the parts in warm water until clean. Took all of 4 minutes! A handy mini wire brush is included, as well as a declogging pin if the need should arise (it’s taped to the back of the manual, so be aware!) One last note: it is louder than I expected, but I didnt really know what to expect. Its not uncomfortably so, but Id probably wear hearing protection if I were spraying inside or for a prolonged period, since the beefy motor isn’t particularly quiet. All in all, I’m very pleased with the purchase, and am looking forward to painting more things!

Notice:

  1. Please read the user manual carefully, which contains a professional introduction to the product, detailed operating procedures and precautions. It can help you use paint sprayer better.
  2. Please choose a suitable nozzle and spray pattern, and check whether the container and paint pipe are tightened.
  3. If you notice that there is lubricating oil when the motor is separated from the front, please don"t worry. The function of the lubricant is to lubricate the two parts so that the two parts can be connected more easily.
  4. The cleaning needle used to clean the nozzle is attached to the back of the instruction manual. The cleaning needle is too small and easy to lose, please keep it properly.
  5. Please clean all cleanable accessories after use. This will help maintain the life of the paint sprayer and prevent clogging due to dry paint.
