> 24 hourThis hose extends up to 80, which is plenty long enough to reach the window and allow me to place the AC where I want it in the room, unlike the hose that came with the unit. The hose that came with the unit forced me to have the AC RIGHT NEXT to the window and made it difficult to aim the unit where I wanted the air to be blowing. This hose gives me the freedom the original hose didnt.

> 24 hourI bought this hose to replace my current one which was made of aluminum. This hose does not get as hot as my old one and still manages to keep the temperature stable which is great! Getting the hose to the AC attachment was tricky at first since you have to line it up and tighten it a lot. But overall, this product works as expected.

Like that it expands and compresses easily in case I want to move my air-conditioning unit around. Seems a little better actually than the one I originally got with my air conditioner when I purchased it (which that one ended up cracking after a yr) this one feels like it’ll hold up. Also make sure not to throw away the end pieces that it screws into when removing your old one like I almost did! This item is only the hose and doesn’t come with those pieces that make it attach to the unit. (Obviously! But just fyi)

Step 2This is a Anti-Clockwise AC Hose. If the direction of your old AC Hose is Anti-Clockwise when installing, you then require the Anti-Clockwise direction replacement AC Hose. |
Step 3Once you have established what AC Hose you require, extend the end of your 5.9 Inch AC Hose, rest it against the inside of your unit specific coupler, and gently twist Anti-Clockwise until it is secure (Coupler not included) |
