We’re renting and somehow lost allll of the door keys. I’m so glad I found these. They fit all doors perfectly.

These keys are easy to use. They are sturdy and have held up to the use. I think they are a good value for the price.

Did not know what these silly things were for or that they even existed till last week. Have around five Kwikset/Delta Turn-y Privacy Knobs with a Tiny Hole, and thankfully never had Locked Out issues with any of them. But learned last week that *IF* that ever happened.. ..uh oh. While an eyeglass repair screwdriver is ALMOST ok, that item seems to have too-small-a-blade to work properly. Still had the part number for the knobs and on the Kwikset web site it seemed to list 81087 as the part number for the Privacy Knob Emergency Key. Did an Amazon search and found Q-1, Q-5, Q-10, (this item) even a Q-100. Better safe than sorry, so ordered The Q-10 set in to have IN CASE of a Lock Out issue. They arrived quickly and they appear to do the job. Now to Scatter these items about so that IN CASE there is a future issue - will be set. Note 1: One may have to (gently) twirl the blade around to line things up properly. Can always Cheat and (possibly) shine a light into the hole to try and catch a glimpse of the inside. Aka: Try to turn a standard-blade screwdriver in the dark.. ..have to Feel Around to get the Blade into the Groove. Note 2: Once things are lined up, may have to give the device an EXTRA bit of force to get it turn that last 5% - CLICK - etc. On an unrelated event. Also have some Baldwin Turn-y Privacy Knobs elsewhere, and those also use a similar device. Now that the Q-10 set has arrived, can place them side-by-side to compare: They look the same. So guess that Kwiket = Delta = Baldwin when it comes to Turn-y Knobs with a Tiny Hole. May also take one of the knobs to the hardware section and see if I can find a standard flat-edge screwdriver that can actually fit into the Tiny Hole and have a properly-sized blade to fit in the groove and unlock the knob. Might luck out and find something! If not, now have ten of these little things Just In Case. Knobs are in the eye of the beholder I guess. Have seem other Privacy Turn-y Knobs that can be opened with ones thumb, or with a nickel. While certainly easy to open, maybe TOO easy to open if all it takes is a twist of a thumb. Or in other words - if you dont like the way certain knobs work, but a different model.

If you have children that lock themselves into bathrooms, you will want to have a couple of emergency keys on hand. If you have a child and you need to lock off rooms to keep them clean or keep the child safe, this will allow you to use the door knobs that came with the house. We use this on our guest bedroom and guest bathroom. We have other bathrooms and there is no reason for anyone to play in those rooms. My son with autism also really likes to turn water on and watch it run. After a $200 water bill, we started locking that bathroom. Its far enough away from where we spend the majority of our day and we would walk in to a room full of steam and hot shower running for at least 20 minutes (maybe a few hours). No more of that thanks to these keys! We do have a couple of doorknobs we replaced ourselves that this does not work for. They literally use a pin and push a lever in the lock. Make sure you need something that is more like a micro screwdriver before buying these.

I gave this four stars because you cant find this type of key anywhere. I tried several hardware stores (major hardware stores) and no one sells them. Theres nothing special about the key because Im sure these keys all work the same. The price that I paid for them here is why Im writing this review. You cant beat the price, plus no shipping costs! Every house has doors with these types of locks, so they come in very handy. The cost of each key amounted to about .50 each.

Great product very sturdy! Worked perfectly for all my doors except one. For some reason the hole is smaller tban rest of doors. Definitely recommend these!

Somehow we were down to one unlocking key so this 10 pack was more than enough for peace of mind with kids around who tend to fiddle with the locks.

Appear to be the same keys that come with the locks. Its nice to have spare keys when there are 4 kids in the house.
