    I purchased a number of handles and locks in preparation of a slight remodel. Normally Id install these myself, but Im having some doors replaced thus most of my purchases have remained boxed up with only a quick glimpse after arrival. Of course today I pop open my package and realize flaws on both sides of the handle! One has bubbles in the finish and the other has a slight notch missing. Not terrible, but frustrating... Skimming over reviews of similar Kwikset products, it seems Im not alone.

    Great looking handles. We put them throughout the house, and used the entry key version for the external doors. The SmartKey feature is great. We easily keyed all doors to match - no problem.

    Bought a flipped house 5 years ago with all contractor-grade hardware and fiberglass doors. I like this Kwikset door knob much better. Its got a tight fit that makes it feel really sturdy and the added heft makes it easy for the door to close without having to slam the door. Was able to use the smart key feature to easily rekey them to match, so that only a single key is needed for the house. Highly recommend.

    This was a quick replacement for the door knob assembly that I broke. The replacement was a quick fix and you have to really appreciate the ability to re-key the lock mechanism to an existing key. In my case, I replaced the lever assembly without having to replace the deadbolt too. This is the second time I have used these and I am quite pleased with quality, installation, and convenience.

    I can’t tell but appears there is some sort of plastic coating on these. I’m at least one, the coating is ripped. It appears to be a few millimeters thick and probably meant to extend the life of the finish. Since this is for an entry to and from a garage, I can live with it. If it was for any other door I would definitely return it. I like the smart key feature on all these Kwik set products. I have used them a lot. That is worth the money.

    The picture doesnt show how pretty these REALLY are. Heavy construction and look SOOOOOO nice on our 6 panel oak and pine doors!! Ive seen the exact same ones advertised for $50.00 ON SALE so these are a fantastic buy. Easy to install. Ive had MANY compliments and they work great for kids - no knob to try to grasp hold of. Would buy this brand and style again if I ever ended up moving.

    Had to replace a existing door knob. Went with a handle since we use this door all the time. Easy to install, fit the existing door knob opening and I was able to rekey to use my existing key.

    Took me 20 minutes to install which was a lot because it was complicated. I replaced a closet door to add a lock feature. The handle curve on the outside is the opposite of all the other handles. Lets see how long it takes for the wife to notice.
