Bought this set for the origional models second revision. Its for the 1100 model. The back buttons stick to the touchpad and you are not able to use swipe with them on. It is a separate piece that is intended for use when doing remote play. They give you r3,l3 functionality. The back button insert is held non with double sided tape. This is well made and durable. I use it often with no issues.

Cheesy clips but if your careful it should last you fine, great for console gaming on the vita, makes the rear touch pad actually work proper. Must buy for a 1st gen vita owner.

I bought this awhile back it was great till it broke made playing my vita much easier, it lasted just fine till I dropped it and it hit the top left corner the plastic cracked and split. It was hard to properly clean the vita with the back triggers on they stuck on with stickers directly to the vita

Very comfortable to use

The little back piece cones with a dual side adhesive you attach to the back of the vita to give you physical L3 and R3 buttons. It works great except when I hit R3 it makes like a squeak sound. Maybe has to do with the spring, but if you have headphones on or are not really paying attention to it, it is not a big deal as the buttons are responsive. It also comes with the piece that goes over your vita, this dis not fit my vita for some reason. 2 out of the 4 clamps could not attach. Thankfully I had another case that I bought for the R2 and L2. I used that case and the back piece still fits well, so I am pretty happy, but beware if you do not have another vita console cover. Maybe mines was just defective. The packaging was great and delivery took about a week coming from China, super fast imo.

Fits like a glove although the adhesive on the back touch screen is super strong. To the point of its difficult to get off should I need to replace parts on the system.

After a long time deliberating I finally decided to bite the bullet and pick this grip up. I mainly use my Vita for PS4 Remote Play, Moonlight PC Gamestreaming and Emulators and I must say that its like a whole new beast now. I was never a fan of the back touchscreen on the Vita and frequently tended to push unwanted parts of it when playing my games. Now I FINALLY have real L2, R2, L3, & R3 buttons to press and I can never see myself going back. Ive only been using it for a couple days so far and while I havent noticed any damage as of yet, the fact that the Vita is held into the thing by 4 plastic clips is a little worrisome. They show no signs of giving out just yet, but Im wary about ever taking my Vita out of the thing now for fear of one of them snapping. Dont get my wrong, the plastic its made out of seems fairly sturdy, but Id rather not test the stress tolerances of those clasps if I dont have to. Besides that tho, it works exactly as advertised and Id recommend it to anyone else who uses their Vita in a similar manner.
