I got this case and immediately loved it. It gave me something solid to carry my external hard drive around and now the drive feels a lot more protected. I would have given this five stars but for one thing. I used the little strap that goes around your wrist a total of 3 (more like 2 1/2 almost) times. On the third go, the handle snapped as soon as I stopped holding the case and let the strap hold the weight. Its a good thing the rest of the case is solid because my hard drive took a tumble. Was not impressed.

Ordered this November 2021, its now February 2022. Havent had the chance to drop it or travel with it to test how well it works. I open it about once a month to back up my computer (so Ive physically handled it maybe 4 times at the most, it just sits on my shelf) and one of the rubber bands already snapped off from where it was sewn in. Im going to try to fix it myself with glue because it would be impossible to sew back in.

Given the value of the contents of an external drive, it’s foolish NOT to protect them. Great even for storing at home!
