I got the The 4TB external and needed some case to go with it. Is sturdy and looks okay for the intent use.

I really like the case, although it doesnt really fit a WD Passport. I purchased because I loved the padding and extra compartments, but the passport is too thick to fit on the side with the padding (Ive got the newer 2TB passport with square corners). It does fit on the netted pocket side, but of course you then give up the padded protection, although the hard case still offers some protection. I actually cut off the bottom row of padding so the flap would lie over the passport better. This helped some, so I can close the case with the USB cable in the netted pocket, however it is tight and I dont have anything in the two pockets on the flap.
