i dont think it is going to prevent any real damage in case of hdd falling or hitting by.

Nice case, reasonably priced, and it does the job.

Fits my Toshiba Canvio Connect II 2TB Portable Hard Drive just fine. Maybe just a tid-bit tight but dimensionally it fits fine with cord. There is a divider inside that pads your hard drive that causes the snug fit but I like the extra security, seems like good protection for those occasional mishaps. There is also 3 spots for SD cards inside. My only complaint would be the zippers. They just look a little flimsy but I havent had any troubles yet. Bonus side is that it comes with a strap AND a small carabiner ring for attaching to whatever you feel like hanging it from. Overall I consider it a good purchase, no regrets.

Excellent product. It protects my hard drive and has extra room for the cable and sd cards. Love it!
