It does it’s job as far as placing hot tools on it. But the button that holds it together is loose. I know it’s gonna fall off.

The rubber itself didnt melt but the heat melted the top of my vanity table. I was using a ceramic tile prior to this And did not have this issue. Be careful with this..do not trust it.

I’m glad I purchased the larger size mat for use with two heat devices. Works great. I leave the mat on my vanity all the time. I’m sure it would be good for traveling although not why I purchased.

It is not heat resistant. It curled up when I put my straightener on it

i needed to read the dimensions but it said large and the pic showed it with curling iron and it looked large but believe me its not and its super flimsy not sure how long its going to last

I love how you can set your curling iron on it while you’re curling your hair and you don’t have to worry about burning your countertop. I love how I can take my 450° curling iron and stick it in there immediately after unplugging and nothing gets burned. The only thing I was bummed about is that it didn’t have a thing to hold it closed on the end like some of the pictures showed. But other than that, it was great.
