> 3 dayI tried to use this for a project this weekend with poor results. The accessories included proved useless as they do not allow enough functionality to be widely adjusted . You will need to mount this to something the height that you want the lines for horizontal. None of the tripods that I had or borrowed had the right 1/4” or larger post and the height. After 3 hours of messing with it I gave up and moved on to old school level since it was taking too much time to get to work how I wanted.

> 3 dayThis device is so versatile and portable whether it’s to hang a shelf or picture in the wall or level a ground , it’s useful for so many things. I always have problem in deciding whether the nails are in straight line or not so this device is perfect for me.

> 3 dayhave never used one before so I was a little intimidated at first but this one was super simple . It had way more attachments than is required for my infrequent home use, really felt like it would be more in place at a construction site it had four separate lasers two vertical and two horizontal that could be independently turned on and off ,the gimbal inside it auto leveled when you turned it on making it really nice so you always had a level line on the surface you were projecting upon, real straightforward to use as you can see by the pictures it put a nice straight line on the wall so I could easily mount a television really liked it definitely recommend it to anyone needing a level line on any surface vertical or horizontal

> 3 dayIts large and easy to use and read the instructions to figure out how to use all the functions and features even for the non-perfectionist self that I am. The carry case is nice too to keep it from getting accidentally damaged in this house of chaos. Its also self leveling to within 3 degrees and will let you know when its having troubles and needs manually leveled.

> 3 daySo needed this years ago, always thought it was way too expensive. Ordered due to the ratings and found it be really nice. Its rotates by hand, and displays vertically as well as horizontally. You can even shoot a 2 lines either way for the size of the tile. I was impressed, only used one battery for this project.

> 3 daySo I do most of the renovations by myself and lookout for tools that are easy to handle and have a quick turnaround. I was looking for leveling tools.

> 3 dayI tend to do most of the house projects (especially interior) myself and Ive been using typical levels so far. When I saw this laser level I decided to give it a try. Ive used it on a very simple project so far (hanging a picture with two hooks on the side - I used the single vertical laser line) but it works great and its very easy to use.

> 3 dayBuilding an enclosed tree house (15x15) and was desperate for a leveler as it was difficult to get wall-to-wall marker lines since I was in the trees and the distance was beyond my manual leveler. I’m no expert with laser levelers and this one seems to have a lot of bells and whistles beyond my level, but in no time I was able to get vertical lines up for my 2x4s studs in the wall frames and the window sills and top plates. I set up the level in the middle of the room on a tripod (there is a standard screw connection), and as long as its level when 3 degrees, the leveler will self-level, otherwise an alarm will sound. There are two horizontal lines on one axis and two vertical lines on 2 different axis. The lines congrate at 90 degree points in the front, top, and sides. Not sure what you would use that for. The build quality is not bad--much of the leveler itself is hard ABS plastic. The mounting hardware appears to be all aluminum and is quite solid. There is a small vertical platform that can be any height up maybe 4 inches that the leveler can sit on. There is always an arm that has magnet on the end so you could attach the leveler to a metal surface, like a fridge I presume. The whole kit comes package in a styrofoam-lined case, with two batteries and the charging cable. I’m no builder expert, but this has been helping me a lot, and it’ll be part of my equipment cache in the garage for future projects.
