These strainers are well made, but are too shallow for my liking, only one inch deep. The strainers that I previously had I much prefer because they were about 2 deep. My oversight, because the description clearly states the 1 depth.

I should have used it before the sink drain was clogged. It can filer very small pieces.

My kitchen sink has clogging issues. This mesh drain screen fits perfectly with catching stuff that normally went through the standard sink drain/stopper. The outer rim is heavy and fits snuggly soothing goes underneath the sides either. Best buy for under $10.
