The AS118 Sandblaster gun kit assembled easily; since I added an in-line air filter, I had to add some 1/4 NPT connectors into the system, but one doesnt have to do so to use the gun. The gun is well-made, and I have not have had any problems with it so far after about 2 hours of use.

I love it for refinishing old pieces of furniture. I can easily get to hard to get areas with this machine.

I needed to sandblast some small parts and antique tools that had rusted. I took them to a local machine shop that does that sort of thing and they quoted me $150.00. YIKES! So I went to AMAZON and found this little device. I already had a air compressor so I ordered this sandblaster. It works great for cleaning up small projects! I realized that I didnt have any blasting medium when it arrived. NO PROBLEM! It comes with a screen. You can use it to sift the fine sand in your kids sandbox to do your little jobs Bigger projects - I would order some blasting medium togo with this great tool. It requires about 90 Psi from your compressor to really be effective, so you will need an air tank with some volume to work properly. A portable DeWalt with two tanks like the one I have would work fine (or larger). For this price, this is a handy tool to have in any workshop. A great gift for the handyman!

The sandblaster worked great for me once I figured out the setups. If you have a small job to do, this is a good tool to have.

Qorks great for small jobs bad for big ones needs alot of median most are reusable witch can be a good thing if you have a clean environment you are spraying looks like it does in the picture came with everything little hint make sure entire face is covered. The blow back stings not terribly it just gets you off guard at 1st super fun to watch it rip rust off metal helps for welding to clean up the 2 weld points

Is this a professional sandblaster for cleaning off body panels? No. Is it perfect for etching or cleaning up small parts? Definitely yes. I had a badly rusted battery shelf from a motorcycle that I cleaned up in about 20 minutes with 6-8 cups of 80 grit glass beads and a small pancake compressor. It took off all the residual paint and every bit of rust. I spent a few minutes tweaking it and learning to use it, but after that it did an amazing job.

I used it to remove the rust from my tools and also the edge of the fenders on my boat trailer. It works great!
