We chose this over the Fisher-Price tea set because its what our 18 mos. old daughter liked. Its a better buy than that other one IMHO. The tea pot itself, as others have said, lights up when you click the heart button to brew tea. Theres a sound effect when you pour out tea, music and counting. When you open the lid, theres a mirror inside. There are 2 cups so its just right for two. The 6-piece cake set that comes with it is a fun toy on its own. You dont have to buy a separate cake toy (for a while anyway). Each piece has a different color and fruit on it. My 4 year old son loves the cake so much, maybe even more so than his sister does. Wonderful toy!
