> 3 dayThis is a fun toy, but it does suffer from trying to be too educational instead of letting the kid do the playing. Ill start by saying that I would not buy a plastic, light-up, musical toy, but we got it as a gift. My daughter loves it. But I think that the songs dont add to the experience of just having the teapot, cake, and cups, and having kids pretend play and actively use their brain. It feels forced - who ever thought that tea is categorized by color (orange tea, yellow tea) and that tea color should be matched to cake color? Its bizarre and pretty condescending towards kids (lets say anything, they are kids and the only thing that matters is that they learn to recognize colors). So I take off a star for trying to be educational instead of just a toy to let kids play with their imagination (which is truly the most educational a toy could be).
