LEGO Creator Expert Volkswagen Beetle 10252 Construction Set (1167 Pieces)

Really fun build, took around 3 hours. Pretty cool details, like the emergency brake, center hump, seat spacing, etc.

My 11 year old son love building this. It was an awesome project for him and I to do together. Highly recommend this.

Winter is already hard enough when you cant go out because of the cold. Add a pandemic to that and youve got a real lonely situation. Fight those blues with dreams of a forgotten era; build your own car and a pile on the surfboard. Think of all the fun youll have shoving 6 people into this tiny car so you can go to the sandy oasis! It really rolls and is a beautiful car! For added fun, have Lego trades with your friends! Once you each finish your project; take it apart and bag it up and trade (after sanitation, of course).

So I love Legos and expert Legos are my favorite because of the challenge. Well when I got my set I sorted out all the Pieces for ease to put everything together. After 8 hours of sitting on the floor putting it together, with much frustration. I am missing a bunch of pieces! and some of the other pieces wouldnt fit together without being forced into place. I differently would think the people whom made the design would have tried it. But.. Hope others sets at least have all the pieces and they dont get a bunch of odd hair pieces and Lego bricks that dont belong on a WV Beetle.

Got this from my wonderful wife for valentines day, yeah were odd, she got flowers and i got a childs plaything. Lots of fun putting it together. Hardest part was not working too fast...made it last 3 days. Gotta love the lady that gets you toys. :)
