> 3 dayCant go wrong with Duplos. Well made, thick, sturdy tough big pieces. Just the right size for toddlers and young children. I think its great for us grandparents because I can easily see and hold on to the pieces. These days it seems like entertainment is all thought out for the kids so I love toys that make a kid really use their imagination. The huge set is awesome! From big airplanes and whales to pandas and palm trees. I was going to give this over to the grandkids house but Im going to keep it here instead so I can play with it too. I recommend this set.

> 3 dayTalk about a “Wow” gift! This would be it! What a huge assortment of Duplo, but not just blocks. This set is an amazing assortment of animals, minifigures and novelty pieces. How about an airplane with luggage? A van with a surfboard and kayak? There is even a chunky camera for your minifigures to hold! With a little imagination, you have quite the adventure in this box. Want to add some water play? Float the whale and it’s baby! Put the fish under water and it will make tiny bubbles. As both a parent and educator, Duplos have been part of my curriculum for many years. Teaching a child “how” to use their imagination is an incredible gift. All it takes is a little encouragement and pretty soon, they will be telling you the story of the Mommy Giraffe and her baby. This is one of those gifts that you want to tell the grandparents to buy for the kids. My parents always wanted something nice that the kids would love. Our Duplos always got so much use. Even as the kids grew, we began using them for other lessons, such as “Sink or Float”, color sorting, counting and so much more! Oh and our favorite part? The “treehouse” and the slide for the penguins! The toucan looks mighty sharp on top of the tree! I have posted several pictures for your review. We didn’t set up each habitat, but chose to just free build instead!

> 3 dayFew plastic bags that hold legos were already ripped when it arrived. This was a gift for my nephew and I was very frustrated.

> 3 dayWe gave this to our two year old granddaughter and she didn’t want to open any more presents after seeing this. She and her daddy played with it for hours and hours. She loves it.

> 3 dayThis set is a great introduction to LEGOs for a younger child. The duplo pieces are a bit larger than regular LEGOs and are easier for them to handle and use ( put together) Also very simple to put together ( such as attaching 2 pieces to make the tree trunk) Our grandson was thrilled with this set. Most young children love animals, and with the addition of building things, animals and an airplane. canoe, bus etc there is so much for the figures to do and places to go! Hes enjoying playing with the set and talking about the animals and where they live. LEGO is a great brand which encourages thinking, building skills and are just plain fun to play with! I highly recommend this set as a first LEGO set for toddlers. They can enjoy it for years and will be a good stepping stone for future LEGO kits.

> 3 dayI love Legos and Duplo blocks! All the animals in this set (with rare exception) came with a “baby”! So cute my great grandson is almost 2, and we got to play together with the blocks. He he identified the truck the quickest. Loves when the the whale keeps the little one in its mouth.

> 3 dayThis makes an absolutely amazing gift. The box is gigantic. Its colorful. It ticks all the right boxes. Its marked 2+, made for that birthday party, that day to introduce the kid to the magic of building things. Alas, once you open it, youre presented with largely single piece animals, with just the plane and the bus being meaningful assembly pieces. There are lots of bespoke pieces, more than I realize Duplo makes. For reference, I found https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KMUUQVK/ in practical terms a more enjoyable set, in terms of the possibilities of putting things together, mixing and match. All for a very low price. The build quality is top notch. I thought the big giraffe was a good piece: the feet are exactly spread apart, it has a mounting point on top, and the head wiggles. I feel like most of the animals are large enough to deserve their own assembly, and ability to build on their heads and backs. I think its a lost opportunity. I would say, all in all, this isnt a bad set. Even though this is a large box, it by itself is actually quite boring, and would need to be complemented by other more structure based sets. Maybe thats the plan all along, to anchor the hook into buying more Legos!
