LEGO DUPLO Town World Animals 10907 Exclusive Building Bricks (121 Pieces)

This set is pricier than others but it has all the things my children love: vehicles, two sets of families, and animals. The set is really well thought out and each location has its own feel. Both my 4 year old and 6.5 year old loved the animals right from the start. Once Id put together the locations sets for my little guy big sister joined in and grabbed a towel to act as the ocean so they could arrange the sets just so. Then they moved on using the animals with their Fisher-Price Little People Zoo set. After that the whale had to go into the bath tub (most of the lego animals ended up in the bathtub to be honest but because they are solid plastic I dont mind. The whale also has a small hole on the bottom of the body so any water that gets into it has a way to drain out). The only downside I can see to this set is the whales head. It articulates on a hinge but if you open the whales mouth too much the whole top pops off the body. Ive had to replace it several times and it actually is a little hard to get on. But it is a very minor issue. This set is really delightful and would make a wonderful gift particularly if it is for a younger sibling- their older sibling will be happy to join in the play! Packaging: The box can be recycled and some of the bags are labeled as #4 plastic and recyclable but others arent marked as such and the outside of the box list the bags as non-recyclable.

This is awesome! You get so much with this set. The kids love it!! The pieces are easy to put together and take apart. This is wonderful for fine motor skills and planning. We talk about spatial concepts as well as we put the animals “on top” and “next to” while we talk about colors and sizes. We count them and sort the animals into their respective homes. I use this for speech therapy but it has so many uses. Definitely recommend!! Durable pieces and well made.

A great gift for my animal and duplo loving grandson.

This is an excellent all around set for toddlers, and contains enough bricks to keep them engaged for a while. There are three main kinds: animals, traveler mini-figures, and the jungle environment. The animals came in pairs of parents and kids, and they are actually very large pieces. (Could even be called separate toys by themselves). The adult animals tend to have one articulating joint. For example, the whale can open his mouth, and the giraffe can move her neck. The kids are smaller and do not have moving parts. The environments are various matching the habitats of these animals. They also come with buildings, plants, and a plane for the explorers. Overall there is enough variety for repeated play and enabling the exploratory nature of your toddler. It is well liked by both of our kids, and I would highly recommend this set.

What I like about them is my grandson wont stop playing. What I dont like is my grandson wont stop playing, he has them out all day right in the living room. Its all good. Thanks

Great Duplo set, we had tons of building blocks but not very many accessories, such as animals and this set was perfect. Our daughter has loved them and has only grown her LEGO love!

If not for the price we would purchase more duplos and legos. They can also go into smaller boxes most boxes are only half full per set. With lego price on the rise FAST, we dont buy them very often anymore.

Our two year old hasnt really played pretend with her toys until now. I was hesitant to let her try these because I hate toys with tons of pieces, but I have no regrets now. She remarkably took to playing with these right away, trying different ways to put them together, and calls all the figurines her friends. A term she now applies to every human looking toy she owns, but it only started after she started playing with this set. The different animals are also awesome to help build her vocabulary on the animals names and the sounds they make. She will probably continue to play with these for the next few years as she grows. We have stepped on some of the pieces and nothing has broken yet. The pieces are big enough that Im not concerned with her choking on them (though Im sure she could if she really wanted to try and eat them), but theyre small enough that she can manipulate the pieces easily with her small hands. If you cannot tell, were very happy, grateful, and excited for her to be playing with this set. It comes with a helpful booklet that tells you how to set up the different scenes. Update: We gave our daughter the rest of the set for her birthday and set it up. We are missing a couple pieces which are probably in her room, but the second picture is about 95% of whats in the package.

My son received this as a gift for his 4th birthday and absolutely loves it.

For anyone who has a kid that likes to use their imagination and loves to build, this is the ultimate set. It is definitely more expensive than it should be but worth it if your child is like mine and loves to build a whole world out of legos. My daughter likes to make a world or a zoo with these and creates a whole story to go with the pieces which I think is great. It has so many pieces to really let a child use their imagination. I definitely would recommend if you can afford it. (Or maybe ask grandparents to buy as a gift, lol)
