> 3 dayThis is a really cute Duplo set. The trees, the animals, the noise… it’s so fun. My toddler is thrilled with this. I can imagine most toddlers would be over the moon to get this as a gift. This is a unique Duplo set - focused mainly on the animals. I’d like a few more habitat pieces, but we do have a zoo set that will be fun to use in conjunction with this. The set is really big, one of the largest Duplo sets I have ever seen. It’s going to be a lot of fun for my kiddos. As always, I cannot give five stars because of the price. LEGO has, in my opinion, priced out average families. This is very expensive.

Greater than one weekWhen I ordered this I expected it to come in a little 12x13 box at the most the box it came in was at least 24x30 and it was filled with as many legos. All of the different assemblies came in the own separate bags inside the box. The animals had no bags. The map is a world map that has a picture of where each animal is from which makes it slightly more educational than some Lego sets. So far I have noticed no rough edges or flaws that make these Lego duplos difficult to use. This would make a great gift for a little one who loves to build or loves animals.

> 3 dayThis is a huge set of Duplo animals. Lego Duplo has a great reputation, well made and great for imagination. This is a great addition to our other sets!

Greater than one weekIf I had to use one word to describe this set, itd be massive. If I had 2 itd be massive and overwhelming. Theres a lot going on. This is like going to a vegas buffet for the first time. So many animals, trees, scenery, large blocks, flowers! There are other duplo sets with animals, like the safari elephant/giraffe one. For reference, the animals in those sets are the baby versions of the animals in this set. There are just...so many pieces. Ive always wondered what this much money in a duplo set gets you. Its.. a lot. So I like that they give you enough to have every set built at the same time. The tree pieces are not shared, and you dont have to tear down one to build another (looking at you, 3 in 1s). I like how much larger these animals are, and how many there are. Great variety around the world, but I feel like we could do without a duplicate penguin and get like... a kangaroo or something to go with the koala. The noise block (only one) makes background noises like jungle, monkey calls, etc. The tree pieces are really big and impressive. A few things that I thought were not great moves by Lego- The playmat is the same as the others you find in these animal sets- about as thick and sturdy as a nice christmas card. That means if it got wet, itd get ruined. And if you have a 2-3 year old... everything gets damaged. Wish they could have invested a little more and made it cloth or something sturdier like that. Some of the playsets look a little sad.. not in a low quality way, but like a story way. Like the polar bear on a tiny ice platform. We know global warming is here, I dont want to be reminded of it when playing with my toddler. Theres also a set with a Koala on a tree on a small island... with a crocodile at the bottom. Theres an emphasis on story telling or crafting a story with these. Im not a big fan of this because Im too tired of crafting stories. My kiddo is just getting the regular Lego experience. Im not creating fan fiction or reenacting Mufasas death with these pieces. Fun fact though, theres an adult lion and lion cub in here. No wildebeest though. Anyway, this is truly an impressive set. A few gripes but no deal breakers. This would be an amazing gift, but will use a lot of gift wrap. My toddler and I played with this for an hour and still havent opened all the bags. Would be 6 stars if it were possible, but since 5s the limit, 5 stars it is.

Greater than one weekThis is a large play set with an included background to really bring the story to life. My kids enjoy all of the extras that come with this like sounds and the background image. It would definitely make a nice gift.

> 3 dayThis is an expansive high quality playset, like Ive come to expect from Lego/Duplo. I did have two minor disappointments about it: - The play mat is just a thin cardboard map. It doesnt seem like it will hold up to much wear and tear. - I thought the figures had some sort of RFID chip in them, since they have these funny blue lines drawn on them in Legos photos. I assumed the animal noises played would have something to do with the proximity of the animals to the base, but this does not seem to be the case. The base just seems to play random noises, like a 60 year old pull string toy. Other than that, I think the set it great. I think parents that buy Lego/Duplo are somewhat accustomed to the price tag, and there is a lot here to enjoy. I did hope to find a little more electronic magic than there was.
