LEGO Harry Potter The Ministry of Magic 76403 Modular Model Building Toy with 12 Minifigures and Transformation Feature, Collectible Wizarding World Gifts

Were fans of Lego and Harry Potter (we have several other previous sets). So I was excited to add the Ministry of magic to the collection. The instructions can be used to build it as a two or three story building. While the three story is more movie accurate, its more stable and easier to play with as a two story building. Im surprised this set is almost 1,000 pieces- it really feels like a smaller set with not much going on. Compared to other Potter buildings (like Diagon Alley and Hogwarts), it feels like Lego really provided the bare minimum for the Ministry. The best part of the set are the minifigures, a few of which were new to us, including the patronus.

My 10-year-old put this nearly 1000 piece set together over the course of a day. He is excited to have 9 Lego people included. He was also excited about the details this set has such as potion jars, a telephone booth, hidden chambers the characters can go thru and magic wands. Each room is full of details. The set can be built two ways (3 rooms tall with two towers, or 2 rooms tall with three towers. The building instructions were easy for my son to follow. The set is sturdy and well designed. This would make a great present for any Harry Potter fan.

My 9 year old is a huge LEGO fan and just starting to get into the Harry Potter series. My Mother (60+) is a big Harry Potter fan and this set amazed all of us. I love the amount of detail the set had. The 9 minifigures are great and my kid loves sets that come with more than 2 so he was very pleased getting 9. This is also one of the first sets I have seen that is modular and you can build it / display it as either a big tower or side by side (just look at the pictures and it will make sense). Kiddo took his time building it and admiring each little section and this took him about 3 hours and he had a blast, so definitely worth the $$ in my opinion!

I loved building this and adding it to the collection only disappointment was it was basically building the same part(the offices all had the same structure) 6 times. Love all the hidden gems tho!

My 9 year old put this together in 4 hours. The Lego instructions are sooooo much better than they used to be. The brick that is going on next is a different color than the rest of the instructions making it easy to see where pieces go. There are lots of moving parts and fun characters to play with. This would be a great gift.

TLDR: Amazing set great for hours of fun and building together! We got this to build together as a family and absolutely loved it!! It comes with six room to build, and a center arch. We split up the rooms and build them together in one afternoon with the whole family and everyone loved it. The designs are super easy to understand, and everything is pieced out based on the rooms so it was super easy to split up. A big piece that we actually have displayed in our living room now! Love it and great activity for the family!!

This is a nice LEGO Harry Potter set, particularly due to its modular approach. I find modular sets to be easy to manage and simpler to put together. Each module has an interesting interior to it and through that a bit of personality each time. I set aside time to put a module together each day and it felt pretty nice having a clear cut stopping point and sense of achievement each time!

Another winner from LEGO. My 8 year old nephew loves this set so much because he’s a big Harry Potter fan. Just like your typical LEGO quality with easy to follow instructions. Excellent gift for your LEGO and Harry Potter fans out there. Super fun set. Highly recommended.
