> 3 dayThis Harry Potter LEGO set is detailed and looks great on display. My 17 year old daughter and I spent 3 hours building this. We could have assembled this in less time if we weren’t supergluing the pieces together. Because this is such a nice and expensive LEGO set, I glued it together so that it wouldn’t be easily destroyed and scattered throughout the house. I like how the pieces come packaged in 7 bags that are numbered in the order they are to be assembled. This set includes a big and thick booklet that includes clear instructions in large print. The instructions are easy to read and follow. We built this for my 6 year old son. He has it proudly displayed on a shelf in his bedroom. We like how it includes many LEGO mini figures. The front of this building has many interesting details and features. The back of this shows fascinating scenes of what’s taking place inside the building. This would be a great gift for any Harry Potter fan.

Greater than one weekLEGOs are always impressing me with each new set. As the years go, the LEGO engineers are always improving each set and creating new and better ones to build and play. Nearly 11 years since the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, we finally have a set of the Ministry of Magic. With 990 pieces, it was easy for me and my two kids to get overwhelmed with. Building it was pretty straight forward but the base is not wide enough for stability. Instead of creating it as a three story building, you are given extra pieces to make it a two story set instead. The included characters include the original trio of friends (with an additional face to use when under the Polyjuice charm), Dolores Umbridge, Mr Weasley, Pius Thicknesse, Corban Yaxley, Reg and Mary Cattermole, and a Dementor.

Greater than one weekI want to ensure your satisfaction by explaining the quality of the item upon arrival so that you can determine whether you should buy the product. This review is describing the physical appearance of the item which is a review of the item itself, not the shipping or the seller. This Lego set was delivered to me packaged in the same box as another item. It was sad when I pulled the box out because it looked opened. In fact it was not opened, the tape is just super loose on it. It was improperly taped. The condition of the box itself receives an A+ though. This set is perfect for any gender kid or adult you want to gift it to. It has very gender neautral colors, and by that I mean all colors are represented in this set. So you won’t trigger anyone by gifting it to them. It’s Harry Potter! I mean you can’t go wrong with Harry Potter. The set was really particularly interesting to me because it seemed like a Lego version of a doll house. I purchased the “frustration free packaging” and want to explain clearly what this means. I could not find the answer online. This Lego set came to me looking just like the set you’d see at your local brick and mortar store. The only thing that might differ is the two pieces of clear tape holding the sides down (keeping the box closed). Everything else is the same and looks collector-quality.

> 3 dayWere fans of Lego and Harry Potter (we have several other previous sets). So I was excited to add the Ministry of magic to the collection. The instructions can be used to build it as a two or three story building. While the three story is more movie accurate, its more stable and easier to play with as a two story building. Im surprised this set is almost 1,000 pieces- it really feels like a smaller set with not much going on. Compared to other Potter buildings (like Diagon Alley and Hogwarts), it feels like Lego really provided the bare minimum for the Ministry. The best part of the set are the minifigures, a few of which were new to us, including the patronus.

> 3 dayAnother winner from LEGO. My 8 year old nephew loves this set so much because he’s a big Harry Potter fan. Just like your typical LEGO quality with easy to follow instructions. Excellent gift for your LEGO and Harry Potter fans out there. Super fun set. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayThis is a nice Harry Potter LEGO set. Fun to build and look at. Set comes with nine mini figures including Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Albert Runcorn, Mafalda Hopkirk, Reg & Mary Cattermole, Arthur Weasley, Dolores Umbridge, Pius Thicknesse, Corban Yaxley and a Dementor. There is just under 1000 pieces making this a nice set overall. This would be a good gift for the holidays or a piece to add to your collection.
