LEGO Ideas 21320 Dinosaur Fossils Building Kit (910 Pieces)

I have this sitting with my Indiana Jones minifig....seems appropriate. It is a really fun set! The build isnt what Id consider challenging BUT its also not too simple. The bricks used tend to lean toward the specialized side of the spectrum, but given what youre building thats to be expected. Still, sometimes the techniques required are a bit fuzzy, given the small bricks used and the uniform color. At that though, it makes for a very entertaining time. The kit itself doesnt necessarily lend itself to improvisation as well as other kits, but then I dont have an issue with that...main thing here is the building and the learning of techniques, which can be applied to LEGO as a whole. Its a very good set, something a bit out of the ordinary, and scales well with minifigs. A solid kit, and a solid idea here. Very good!!!

Hours of fun, great set

for a kid who likes legos. lots of small, intricate pieces.

Havent dine a build in about 7 years and this seg was perfect to get back into legos. Was missing 2 pieces bug they werent too important. Came with a bunch of little tool legos, and about 15 extra piece. Would highly reccomend

Build time for money spent was great. Can’t complain. Picked this up when I saw it retired on Lego website.

This kept my 9 year old daughter busy- she built it on and off over the course of a week, and we were blown away by the details included in this set. Each of the three dinosaur skeletons come with a stand with the name of the species, a minifigure of an archaeologists with a box of tools, books, cup,etc. The three posable, build able skeletons include a Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops and Pteranodon. Once built, they are cool enough to keep out on display. The set is a 1: 32 scale model, 910 pieces, with the T. rex skeleton model the biggest of the 3, measuring over 7” (20cm) tall and 15” (40cm) long.
