> 3 dayWe are HUG Lego fans in our house and have been lucky enough to have built a number of sets this year. Additionally, the Jurassic World movie are a popular with my older son while my younger son has seen the Lego JW mini-movie that essentially redoes the first JW movie. We re-watched that again last might to see if there was something in it that I missed that referenced this set. Nope, must be a different Lego JW episode. So what about this set on its own merits? * The set is split across 3 bags. 1) Dino and jeep Part 1. 2) jeep Part2 and jungle waterfall. 3) Trailer. * The build is pretty straight forward and should be OK for any kid 6+ to accomplish. (There are number of very small pieces which I think contribute to the 7+ rating, e.g. Lego jewel pieces) * Design. Colors are nice but I think some of the play pieces are somewhat on the bland side. The jeep is OK but the trailer while having a couple neat plant touches is on the bland side on the inside. Its not terrible but I was just hope for...more I suppose. * Durability. Not exactly set up for rough play but about what youd expect from a set with this age rating. The Dino is quite sturdy (and fun) but plant elements and some of the decorations on the jeep come off pretty easily. * Play value. The jeep and trailer obviously interact quite well, though the interior of the trailer is kinda bland with a PC and bed being the main interior components. Additionally, I dont know if they are supposed to be chasing the dino and then find treasure, or a looking for treasure and stumble across the dino or what. Its all kinda jumbled that way without having seen the episode this is referring to. That all said, Im not sure it matters. Imaginations are awesome and any kid with a decent one will figure it all out. In summary, a nice playset that should juice any young imagination. The build is fun and the colors are nice though the trailer could have been perked up a bit.

Greater than one weekOur grandson’s comments: Easy to build and fun to play with. Combines well with other Lego sets.

> 3 dayMy grandson loves this item but several large pieces were missing and we were only able to assemble it because we have other lego sets to borrow pieces from. This is unacceptable given what this item costs.

> 3 dayWe have fun putting together this set. It was a little too tricky for my 6.5 year old to put together the jeep and camper but with a little help he did fine. There is a fun, nice sized dinosaur toy which was a snap to put together. It has a soft rubberized tail which I thought was smart, as it helps prevent injuries from a sharp toy. There is a cute treasure piece, where a treasure chest is obscured by trees and leaves but if you step on it the leaves flip back and reveal the treasure chest with jewels. The jeep is really fun and proportionate and looks cool. The camper is cool to, kind of retro colors complete with an interior bed and computer workstation. It came with several characters which are always welcome. I think it took about 30 minutes to put together and we especially liked it because we are a fan of Lego vehicles.
