> 3 dayI have to admit, I am loving the Lego/Avenger collaborations. This is a large, detailed set that really packs a punch. Lego always takes the best aspects of the franchises its working with and makes them into imaginative, creative playsets that are challenging but not frustrating to put together (putting together a Lego kit always feels so satisfying) but then the pieces become timeless parts of a toy collection because if the Avengers hype fades, kids can take the pieces apart and use them as parts for other projects in the future.

> 3 dayWhen I got it, the box has already open with a cut seal. I’m sure that they shipped me a returned item.

> 3 dayMaybe Im jaded, but this set was boring. Hawkeye and Black Widow are cool, but Thor is completely inaccurate. Did LEGO put this out before they saw the movie? It just feels wrong. Building the Quinjet was easy enough, but a whole lot of work for a fragile interactive LEGO. If you think kids can play with this thing, then you havent seen kids play with LEGOs. There are other Avengers LEGO sets that are just as cool, if not cooler, and can withstand a little play time.

> 3 day9 y/o Grandsons request for his birthday. A bit pricey but well worth the smile on his face. He had no difficulty putting it together.

> 3 dayNOTE: Assembly is quite complicated & will likely require the help of an older child or adult. My younger kids helped with organizing the hundreds of pieces into several piles (see pic 01). My older kids, especially the teenagers, were the ones who put the jet together. Its 800+ pieces took a few hours to complete (pic 02). This Lego build definitely teaches patience, following instructions, organization, and hand-eye coordination. The finished jet itself is a large one with fine aeronautical details and moving parts. This set includes quite a few Marvel figures with their detachable weapons (pic 03). My kids loved the idea that its cockpit can not only for their Marvel Lego figures (except for the really big ones like the Hulk) but also for their other small non-Lego toys (pic 04). Lends well to creative play. Notably recommended.
