This was a gift for our grandson who is now 5 years old. He likes complecated projects to put together and we have no doubt that he will have it built in a very short time

Big kit and the dimensions of the dragon are also big! As the grandparents we are just getting into the Lego adventure lol Grandsons, 7 & 10, are enthusiastic but the 10 y.o. is the builder, the 7 y.o. is the cheerleader lol The cheerleader likes to watch, not that crazy about assembling-he likes to make up his own way to assemble so he gets his own model too. I was reading the reviews to see what others have written. I can say that the kids and adults are all enthusatic about Lego and we agree. The kit is made so well and instructions are great! Grandpa and older boy worked on it for a couple of weeks-between school, homework and the few hours they are with us the large kits have taken some time and Grandpa was very anxoius to get it done lol It sounds as though they must have missed something as it came apart after it was completed. The builders were disappointed they had a hard time moving it. Since they are a little pricey it did seem irritating. The kits seem very colorful and this one was very busy with the swhisy tail, the 4 heads and guns, wings that flap.
