> 3 dayI bought this for myself...I mean by kids when theyre like 5 years older than they are now. Its challenging but fun - good to do when you just need to zone out for a couple hours to escape the crushing monotony of everyday life. I recommend pairing with a couple cold beers and some headphones - really make a night of it.

> 3 dayHonestly this is a really good set and most of it is worthy of the UCS title, but the tail fins just don’t hold up to the quality or robustness you’d expect. They’re not fixed and are built of just 2-3 flat pieces layered for texture, so while looking decent they’re very fragile and can be knocked out of alignment by even the gentlest touch

> 3 dayThis is a beautiful set - could use some minor improvements but then Im a wacko when it comes to Star Wars. This set is moderate to very difficult in terms of challenge - not for kids. But if you appreciate and adore all things Star Wars - you will love this. That and it doesnt take much space. There are an obscene number of small pieces - for something small and compact - its very elegant and complex in design and structure. Hence my remark - not for kids. But the challenge is what makes it that good.

> 3 dayThe LEGO Star Wars A-wing Starfighter was a GREAT PANDEMIC cure for BOREDOM! It captivated my pre-teen son for A DAY! My extraordinarily LEGO GIFTED preteen son put this large 1673 piece set together in a day...he was transfixed by the construction, and found it challenging and rewarding. From the very start he was mesmerized...he loved the quality of the box before opening it, the black pages of the instruction book, the difficulty of the build, and the overall quality and look of the completed work. It is not easy to get him off the computer, but this set did the trick! Thanks LEGO for engaging him so completely...however, warning..Lego sets are habit forming and expensive, but worth it!

> 3 dayThe lego itself is great, very sleek set. My only gripe is the shipping. I got it from some third party not actually the Amazon warehouse but any way they didn’t even put the lego box in a shipping box just slapped all the mailing stickers right on the actual lego box and sent it on it’s way. So of course the box was pretty much destroyed. It’s actually stopped me from buying U.C.S. Online, I’d rather take a 4 hour round trip to the actual lego store and know I’ll get a perfect product
