> 24 hourThis is a 3 Star Review: How I determine a rating for my reviews ***** (5) Stars = I LOVE this item. This item arrived just as described in the listing. All items were in the package, and it worked as the listing is stated with all working parts and fit the description perfectly. The instructions were on par and I would rate the item A+++ **** (4) Stars = The items arrived almost as described but maybe didnt include an item that doesnt affect the way the items works or its appearance. Its a little off from the website description. Maybe the color is off or not exact or directions arent perfect. *** (3) Stars - The item is not quite what was described and may vary in the color, style, or description of the item which may cause the item to function different than what was described in the listing. It may or may not work as I had intended; parts are missing or directions arent complete. I would likely keep the item but may not re-order in the future. ** (2) Stars - The item is somewhat similar to the item described in the listing however it does not function or act like the items listing and/or major parts are missing or not functioning properly. Instructions may be missing or confusing to the point that makes the item unusable. I would most likely not keep the item or re-order this item in the future. * (1) Star - The item is nothing like the description or is not the item ordered. The item does not function or act like the item that was listed, and I would never re-order the item. This item is a complete waste of my time.

> 24 hourThe first thing to know is the labels are not huge. The ones that come with the label maker are about one inch by an inch and a half. You can see the relative size in the pictures I attached. I used the largest possible font size. It does print black and white graphics pretty well, but not anything in grayscale. Setup was confusing as the instructions do not tell you how to actually pair the device with your phone. It turns out, it pairs automatically when the device is on and you hold down the button until it flashes and you are in the iLabel app with the correct device selected. But it doesn’t pair from iPhone settings. Also it’s a bit fussy about the paper roll and keeps saying it’s out of paper when you tear off the label you’ve printed. So you have to open the label compartment and adjust the roll of labels. Even with these drawbacks I like the label maker, with its sleek retro design, very much.

> 24 hourI have a bit of a think for little label printers. I liked that this one could print wider labels, and it’s just plain cute. It works pretty well, print quality is a bit disappointing compared to other thermal label printers I have. My biggest issue is the app. It’s clunky, offers very few fonts with no ability to add your own fonts, and while it has a nice little icon library, there’s no search function or no way to mark favorites. Overall I feel like for the $55 price tag (At time of review) it should be better quality with amore control in the app.

> 24 hourThis LetSketch thermal label printer looks like an old red cash register. It’s something that people would comment positively on when they see it sitting on your desk. Once you explain what it is and what it can do, they’ll be even more impressed. This printer can use a wide variety of thermal printing labels, of differing widths (12 mm to 52 mm), lengths (I saw labels of 70 mm long, but you can print continuous labels as well which means no effective limit), and styles (pre-printed ones, transparent ones, even ones that allow you to print in color <though only one color per label>). The printer comes with four rolls of 40 x 30 mm tapes to use (with a lot of labels on each tape). The labels themselves are long-lasting, waterproof, oil resistant, wipeable, tear-resistant, self-adhesive, abrasion resistant and BPA free. It connects using Bluetooth and charges using a USB C cable. Whew! All good things to have! The printed directions have tiny print (I’m sure it wouldn’t have been as “tiny” forty years ago, but my eyes are a bit picky now-a-days!). Though tiny, they are clear as I was able to understand them, download the free app (iLabel from either Google Play or the Apple Store), load the paper and print out some labels in short order. Amazingly enough, I didn’t have to worry about getting the blank labels in the correct position—the printer does that automatically! This printer doesn’t just print text. It can print your photos, emojis, bar codes, just about anything you’d want to print. I’m mostly interested in labeling foods (is that corn starch or confectionery sugar in that jar?) and on shelving down in the basement, but you can use this printer in retail settings as well. About the only negative thing I could say about this was that when I first printed some labels, I used a very small font and some of the vertical strokes of the letters weren’t printed too clearly (though they could still be made out). Later when I was printing larger text, I didn’t notice this. I’m not sure if it was just because the printer wasn’t warmed up (thermal printers use heat to chemically change the labels to make the printing) or for some other reason. Since it didn’t seem to matter much, I haven’t checked back on it. That’s not much of a negative in my mind, certainly not enough to deduct a star from this review. I received this label printer for free in exchange for an honest review: good, bad, or indifferent. You’ve just read the honest review and here’s my recommendation. If you need a label printer that can print narrow to wide labels, of whatever length, then this is an excellent printer for you!

> 24 hourMy husband worked with this unit for a full day and we still couldnt get it to work properly. When it did work, the print was so small as to be nearly illegible. I wanted to love this but, for us, the instructions were unclear.

> 24 hourThe label printer looks very cool and it was easy to pair to my phone from the Android app. Just make sure you you give it the appropriate permissions. Theres a roll of labels inside the printer but it was extremely loose and I had to wind it tight. Inserting the labels and alignment is simple. The arrows on the sides of the holders should point up, insert the roll and squeeze together. The label calibration is also very simple just long press to turn on and tap 5 times. The app isnt too difficult to use for creating labels but does have a learning curve. There are different, design icons, fonts, barcodes, etc. Thats the good. The bad is the print quality is poor in my opinion which is why youd want a label printer, for good label printouts. I tried changing the density but it had little to no affect. It was gradient and had streaks. You can see the quality from the 3 pictures numbered (1) medium (2, 3) high density. Its also not the fastest at printing labels. If the print quality were better, this would be a 5 star label printer despite the print speed.

> 24 hourI had some trouble getting this to print. Downloaded the software (iLabel) from the Play Store. Opened the app and answered some basic questions. The cell phone or tablets Bluetooth needs to be ON but the pairing and connection is done in the iLabel app. Created a simple test label and tried to print it. It asked me several questions which did not make sense and after a few clicks I ended right back where I started from. Spent 15 minutes trying every combination of answers to the same questions and always ended back at the start. When I initially opened the app I was given the option of setting the location to approximate or precise. I selected approximate. That was the problem. I could not get it to print unless I set the location to precise. Why give me an option when only one of the options will work? The ON/OFF LED light can not be seen unless viewed directly from above. That is a bit frustrating because the LED also indicates if there is a problem with the printer or if the battery is low and needs recharging. There is a retaining clip which keeps the labels against the left side of the printer. Probably due to being tossed around during shipping, the retaining clip was pushed all the way to the right. I pushed it toward the left to keep the labels in the correct place.

> 24 hourI have another label maker but wanted to try this one to make address labels. This label maker has individual square labels that come with it. You can also use a “roll” with round labels. What I realize is that if a word is long the size of the font has to be reduced to fit across the label. My other label maker can print labels horizontally for as long a label as you’d like and not have to make the font smaller. This is good to use on an envelope but to make labels for containers I’d want something more visible.

> 24 hourI have a galaxy and the app works great. I like it I got this to use on the bullet planner I do. They are very small sticker labels. I can screenshot a picture and add it to the app and it prints out. The sticker size is smaller than I expected but that is not much of an issue for me. I can see people who ship packages or letter use this as a personalized sealing stamp thing. My sister liked it too and shes not much of an arts and crafts person.
