I bought this along with a lesser model, and this one is doing what it should. It’s a bit pricey, but it does have cool features. The app controls everything. Nice that you can set it to auto, or set a schedule. On sleep, it is very quiet. Been using it for a month and a half or so, and still on the original filter. All is well. Would recommend.

This is my third Levoit air purifier. I each one and all different sizes. I purchased Vital 200S to be in my living room. For the first several weeks, this thing ran with the color blue. All of a sudden a couple nights ago after cooking it turned red and has remain for the last couple days. I put my middle size unit right next to the new larger unit and turned it on auto. The light is blue. So I have two Levoits right next to each other. One is blue one is red. I’m going with the new larger unit that is red is incorrect. How do I reset this thing? I’ve already vacuumed out the filter.

We placed this unit in our bedroom, We cannot hear it running at night on the low fan setting, but if you walk by it and hold your hand above the top of it you can feel the air moving. The control panel lights are bright but at night they go off. In the dark if you want to change settings, just touch the panel and the lights come back on. The washable filters are easy to clean. Thanks for a great product.

Quiet, works well.

I ordered one of these and was very impressed with the odor control while having it next to my cat litter box. I decided to return it because I was still testing out other Levoit purifier models and needed more time to make a final decision on which one I wanted to keep. After deciding I wanted to go ahead with this model, I ordered the Vital 200s purifier again, and this time the one that arrived had a very distinctive loud motor knocking/clicking sound that was very annoying. It gives the impression it could break at any moment. I tried to see if I could do a simple exchange via Amazon, but exchange was not listed as an option for this device; only return. I asked Amazon customer service via chat if they could help facilitate an exchange, and they said they could only help me cash in on the product warranty if I wanted an exchange. No one should have to use up a warranty for a brand new defective product, so I will be returning this completely. I saw motor clicking mentioned twice for two Vital 200s machines in another review, so maybe this is a common issue for this product. I was initially very impressed with the odor control, if I could just get another model sent to me that doesnt click. Seeing as this is a complicated toss up, Im now re-thinking this entire machine. UPDATE: After posting this review and returning this machine, the day I finally received my refund, I got an email from Amazon seconds after, threatening my account because, I have been returning too many defective items. Well maybe stop sending me defective items that need to be returned? I will be more cautious in making big (and small) Amazon purchases going forward, since clearly returning more expensive items alerts some kind of flag for them.

Been using this unit for 6 weeks now and haven’t had to dust everything like I used too. Works great, just clean the pre-filter once a week.

Works well in my designated areas of the home.

Although the air quality is off sync, it does work great!

Hits a sweet spot in terms of cost, function, sound level, cleaning ability and sqft. The app is great to schedule different modes throughout the day automatically. Price to performance is excellent. Keep in mind the bigger you go the quieter you can run while still moving a lot of air.

My husband and I were constantly coughing after moving to the south after living in the Midwest our entire lives. We plugged this thing in and our coughing stopped within two days. It’s amazing and very quiet. So happy we found this product!
