This is a very nice printer with a solid (and heavy) build. It is fast, duplexes, and prints in full color. It is designed for small offices, not printing out entire books, so keep that in mind. Also, the onboard color screen is small and doesnt have touch capability, which is annoying at this price point. Overall, a very nice unit.

This is an excellent printer. It is super fast, relatively quiet, and works with no issues. Wireless set up was super easy - you download an app and are in business in less than a minute. Color prints are not photo quality (at least on regular paper) but still look very good.

I rarely review products but this printer warranted it. I ordered this for home / small business use and everything exceeds expectations so far: 1. I received it the day after ordering despite not spending 100+ on rush shipping! (it estimated 5-8 business days to delivery for standard shipping that I chose) 2. It was easy to setup for home use: a) I followed the pictures on the 2 sheets provided to disconnect the shipping pieces & add paper b) I then installed the smart phone app to connect it to the wifi router c) Then I went thru the settings on the printer screen to see if I should change any (e.g. sleep/timeout settings & auto duplex under eco mode- paper), turning on collate etc., also printed test pages and it worked great d) on my phone i printed easily with other lexmark print app e) on my computer it was able to quickly add and find the printer thru the wifi network and then I was able to print from excel and a pdf easily, trying the settings for color, black & white, duplex, collate etc. 3. It prints super fast, 35 ppm would be about 2 seconds per page but it seemed even quicker! I guess Im used to the slow inkjets.. 4. This was a great deal compared to other printers I shopped around for, choosing this after many hours of research & reading reviews; a) wanted laser for printing speed, inkjets are cheaper & good for photos (tho this prints color great too) but are so slow b) For wireless, color, laser printers at around 35ppm print speed there was nothing I saw close to this price (others were more expensive or didnt have comparable features) c) I read mixed/poor reviews of other brands (hp, canon, brother) for durability/reliability & cost (upfront and ongoing)- e.g. brother had long term fuse problems people said they refuse to fix, & apparently they software limit the toner based on page count so it can only use half of it before forcing you to buy more.. there used to be a way to reset the system to get around the limit but they blocked that too per the latest reviews 4. I debated getting the more expensive all-in-one version with copy & scan but phone apps like Microsoft Office Lens make scanning to pdf quick and easy (just need good lighting, it scans full page recognizing edges) so I really didnt need those extra features on a bulkier printer 5. The few complaints I read about Lexmark were about difficult setup (which I had no issues with at all, I didnt even need the CD) and potentially a little more toner cost for long term. But that didnt concern me b/c itd still way cheaper than going to FedEx/UPS & there are settings to extend the life (I noticed pdf options to reduce toner usage 15% which had no effect on quality, & I believe the printer itself has similar settings too); also there are likely cheaper alternative toners out there.. Ill research later as this will last me a long time before I need to buy more :)

I love the fact that this is a personal printer but it works with the speed and quality of a commercial printer.

What a horror show this printer is. Constantly losing the network. Drinks ink for fun. Constantly on the fritz, trips my circuit breaker, and now barely two years old and it stops working. Add in the outrageous price of toner and I heartily recommend you never buy a Lexmark product. Just trash.

Ill start with this is an awesome printer. Great Quality. It is really nice. I had trouble with setup and almost gave up. After reading other reviews, I realized I had downloaded the wrong app. Then the conflict of AirPrint to App. What a relief. Deleted that app and now this printer works amazing.

Its a color laser printer at a great price -- keep this in mind. Overall a great printer. Issues: It pulls multiple blank sheets of paper when it prints. Linux drivers work, but windows drivers will give you a better quality print. Firmware update process is easy.

Its aimed for the office environment, and there it does a good job as a quick and easy printer. Its not something that is intended to print a LOT of things at once, but it does well enough for reports, slide decks, and so on. Setup is, well....fair warning, this printer is a bit on the large side and its heavy for its size. I was a bit surprised because printers of this scale usually have a scanner bed in there, but this one...nope. Part of the size is owing to the laser printing technology along with the need for four toner cartridges, however just know that its not something that will easily fit on a desk next to your laptop. The size issue aside, setup was very easy assuming one uses the Lexmark Mobile Assistant app - basically its straightforward that way. Printer sets up a wifi hotspot, you join it with your phone, and then you proceed with setup from the app. Much easier than the onboard setup which is made more complicated by the lack of a touchscreen on the printer. A serious word of caution for home/AirPrint users: Do NOT use the Lexmark recommended app if you want full iOS integration of AirPrint with this printer. The Lexmark app will override the built in AirPrint functionality of iOS to the point where you have to print anything from an iPhone or iPad through the Lexmark app and NOT through the original application. For instance, say you want to print a photo...instead of clicking Print in Photos, you need to go through the Lexmark app, select the photo through that app, and print it from there. If you do NOT install the app, AirPrint works normally and as expected. To date Ive not seen much that the Lexmark app can do that merits having it hijack AirPrint this way, so I say dont use it. :) Moving on to normal use, its a good and fast printer. It does take about 30-45 seconds to spool up, but printing is fast and clean. Even complex color graphics werent an issue, and certainly exponentially faster than my HP inkjet. Quality is very good as well, with onboard settings that allow one to tailor print quality and media to preference. It did the best job, in my opinion, with business-type graphics on regular paper (think pie charts), and stumbled with photos a bit (though simple photos like headshots against a plain background were just fine if the photo were appropriately sized, meaning no full page printing). Maintenance is very simple, with the toner cartridges on the side and everything is clearly marked and intuitive. Very easy to swap out a toner cartridge, and for that matter quite easy to add paper. The tray does NOT accept a full ream of paper, however...another point that this is more of a quick/easy printer for tasks that dont involve printing 300-page reports. When I get right down to it, I reserve this printer for school or professional use in printing small to medium jobs. A 20 page report, no problem. A copy of a slide deck...again, no problem. For jobs where I need 50 copies of something, well, Im going to the print shop. A good printer when used as designed and I like it!

I just received mine, and my initial impressions are its about the best printer Ive ever owned, HOWEVER, if you run Linux operating systems like I do, you will have to go to the Lexmark Drivers website to download and install the Lexmark C2500 series drivers, and have the printer installer find them locally, otherwise youll get stuck in a Searching for Drivers / installing drivers loop that will have you tearing your hair out. Lexmark requires that you accept their agreement before you can download the required drivers, and the printer installer cant do it for you. Once I figured that out everythings all shiny!

So far so good; meeting expectations; will send additional information as time goes by; especially if anything negative occurs; cartridge longevity, print becomes poorer, reliability problems, etc.
