> 3 dayHeres the thing: the printer I used this in uses color ink when printing black or grey scale pages. Nothing you can do about it. These cartridges cost a lot, and last only about 50 pages, color, b&w, or whatever. Its really terrible. I unplugged the printer and only use it as a scanner now. Printer model was an S815 AIO. You may have heard about a trick to use the chip from an OEM cartridge on a knock-off cartridge, but the trick has a flaw: the firmware remembers the chips that have gone through the printer, and when you put the copycat cartridge into the printer with the chip from the OEM cartridge, it shows that cartridge as empty, and makes it very difficult to print anything.

> 3 dayKnock on wood, I have had great success with what the packaging says is Lexmark ink. I have always purchased ink from Amazon. I buy the Tri Pak in 100XL cartridges, return program. The same with the black 105XL, you know the cheap stuff. I have a Lexmark Pro series printer. I get compliments on the prints made with the printer and this ink. As long as the cartridges fit and the printer recognizes them I will continue to give them a 5 star rating with an A+.

> 3 dayOther negative reviews indicate not an OEM unit. Mine ordered from e-waste vendor said it was Lexmark brand, did NOT say it was compatible, and was all good. Lexmark box, Lexmark sealed, Lemark cartridge. My printer likes it ... therefore I like it. If youre concerned about OEM and not a compatible ... buy from Lexmark.com then! Otherwise, pay attention; read; ask questions; and be glad you can save a few bucks.

> 3 dayThere is quite a bit more ink in the XL size, so it lasts long enough, but if it lasted longer, the ink would probably dry up because I dont use the printer much.
