I had a xfa240 but decided to upgrade(from a xbox perspective) to something that will give me 120 hz. My choices was this, Sceptre E2558B-1658A and Aoc AG241QX. The Aoc was too expensive so it was this or the Sceptra. I chose this one because of a youtube review where a guy said this monitor colors was great looking out the box. I can co sign that statement. This monitor looks beautiful out the box. The only thing i changed was freesync, response time, brightness and i was good to go. This monitor gave me 120 hz on my xbox one x which is what i was looking for. To all the xbox players go head and get you a monitor thats gives 120 hz, its really makes a difference when your playing no matter what the pc geeks say! The crosshairs they provide you are PERFECT. I had a Asus vg245h at one point and couldnt stand their oversized crosshairs but the simple red + sign on this monitor is perfect! The only cons i see about this monitor is you cant save settings, well you can partially. Everytime i turn on my xbox i have to go in settings and enable the crosshair, but what i chose for my freesync and response times stays the same so idk. I wish i could have a user settings option thats keeps everything how i like it. Another con is the port position makes the cables stick out. I had a wall mount that was close to the wall which was fine on the xfa240 but a problem on this monitor. It was a very tight fit for the hdmi cables and impossible for the dvi port. Luckily Microcenter had one with a lil more space from the wall for $10. Also the monitor has no speakers but i knew that before i made the purchase. The creative pebbles is a great addition for $20. Bottom line this was a great purchase for me. I read some reviews from a few years ago where guys said after awhile their monitor screen went all white. Hopefully LG fixed those issues and it doesnt happen to me in the future.....#fingerscrossed

Perfect price for performance. #1 recommendation for a quality yet reasonably priced 1080p 144hrz monitor.

Be wary, buyers. DO NOT get this monitor at its CURRENT STATE. It has TERRIBLE TERRIBLE color banding, its almost unreal. Sure its a TN panel, and its supposed to have some color banding, but it should not be this BAD. Play a game that gets really dark like Control or Metro Exodus, and the color banding becomes easily obnoxious. My 60hz TN panel thats 7 years old doesnt have color banding as bad as this monitor, which was released in 2019. This color banding seems to be an issue that occurred with more recent customers (late 2020 till now). Reviews on Amazon show that only in recent months, people have been complaining about the color banding. I read a blurbuster forum when this monitor was first released in mid-2019, and people had said this monitor had even less color banding than the ViewSonic XG2402 (which many consider to be the gold standard for affordable 144hz TN panels). On that site, people had nothing but COMPLIMENTS for this monitor. I was very excited to purchase and use this monitor... but now Im at two replacements for this monitor and all of them had the horrendous color banding. Thats right: I have THREE of these monitors and all of them have bad color banding. Theyre all on their way back to Amazon now. LG has some serious Quality Assurance issues to address with this model right now. DO NOT buy this monitor at its current state unless youre ONLY going to be doing hardcore, competitive gaming, where things like colors and picture quality doesnt matter to you. Personally, even if I was into competitive gaming, I still wouldnt get this monitor. Im giving this review a 2 star because none of the three monitors had dead pixels, at the very least.

Hello 4k on a gaming monitor. This monitor is fantastic. The picture quality is great, its a very obvious 144 htz and you can tell by your own kill-count how much faster this loads content. Its a great price for a quality product. Highly recommend to any gamer looking to upgrade their game and devices.

One of my two monitors developed a purple line through it. Customer support out side of Amazon is also impossible to work with. Do not buy.

Amazing picture, smooth video, zero dead pixels. LG, The most reliable choice for TVs and monitors for sure.

When I got the product I wasn’t given with an HDMI cord so I had to by my own and even with that the monitor screen was black all I could see was my mouse on it. At one point I got it to show the Home Screen but I wasn’t able to get on anything. Any apps I already had on there wouldn’t let me open and restarting it just brought it back to the black screen. I do not recommend unless I just did something wrong.
