Greater than one weekThe filter on my LG dryer broke in the hinge area - probably the weakest area of those filters. I was apprehensive about ordering this replacement filter. But, happily it was an excellent purchase. It fits perfectly in my LG model DLEX8000 and is identical to the original filter.

Greater than one weekAlthough it was not the least expensive model, based on other reviewers comments, I am glad I went with this one - it is identical to the one that came with the machine originally: just as sturdy and a perfect fit.

> 3 dayThis lint filter fits the LG DLEX9000V dryer model. It came in LG packaging, so seems to be official LG product. Thank you to others who wrote reviews identifying their model numbers. I only figured out that this lint filter fit my machine because of those reviews. My original lint filter only lasted 3 years. Same problem that others listed. Thats absurd for such an expensive dryer. LG needs to do better!
