> 24 hourGot these as gifts for my Star Wars fanatic friends. As far as I know, they loved them, so they made an excellent Christmas gift. As for functionality, not sure how sturdy they actually are, but when I took them out, they seemed fine. They didnt come with batteries, but once in, the light up feature was pretty awesome. I also liked that the umbrellas had a flashlight at the base, which was pretty discreet.

> 24 hourI ordered these as gifts for Christmas because one of the umbrellas was supposed to be clear, and I was looking for a clear light umbrella. Instead all 3 umbrellas are of a thin, flimsy black fabric. It’s too late to return them as I waited after receiving them to open and wrap them as Christmas presents but I am pretty disappointed that none of them are clear as described.

> 24 hourThese are neat umbrellas. The middle of the handle unscrews and that is where the battery compartment is. The 3 AAA batteries (not included) fit into a cylindrical chamber. Once the batteries are in, there are 2 light options. Press the button on the very end of the handle, which is actually the flashlight itself. Then there is a little black button about halfway up the handle. This controls the lightsaber lights. Press this button to turn on and then press again to turn off. Repeat this process to cycle through the various lights colors. Its pretty snazzy and even the tip of the umbrella lights up. The umbrella itself seems decent too. After all, we still need a good functioning umbrella. It has good coverage and is easy to open and close. The umbrella is a tad long, not compact. It still fits in my trunk just fine.
