> 3 dayMy son goes to a Montessori daycare so we’re embracing their philosophies of fostering independence. To be honest, prior to purchasing these I was a bit skeptical but they are GREAT!! There aren’t any real instructions but it’s super easy to install just by looking at the photo. VERY sturdy and durable seeming so far. I love that the handle can swivel so if I don’t want my toddler to have access to lights I can swivel it up out of his reach. Overall LOVE this & wish we’d gotten them earlier.

> 3 dayI ordered another product that Amazon recommended and that had a lot of reviews, but you had to screw in both screws and my light switch wouldnt fully correctly operate with that model. This only requires one screw. Its very sturdy despite thinking one screw wouldnt be enough. My son loves it, picked it up immediately, its sturdy, he hasnt even tried to pull it down, stays clean, looks minimal. I really love these. We have two sets and would probably have a third but hes getting tall enough to just reach the switches himself. Highly recommended!

23-11-2024This is a good budget friendly fix for anyone unable switches that are out of reach. I also have the kidswitch light switch extender which is the basis for my comparison. PROS: The handle is able to swing right or left along the wall, providing some flexibility. Very easy to install. The lighter plastic means that while it may flex a little, it will not remain deformed unless you really stress the handle. Price. Cons: It doesnt have a glow in the dark feature (it did not advertise it). The part that goes around the switch, with enough force, it actually will slip off the actual switch requiring you to easily pop back into place. This is a thinner, more flexibile plastic which may or may not be desirable for someone who may need the extra rigidity due to keeping their arms steady. The part at the bottom of the handle is a bit small for little hands to use. Overall: We have this switch in main rooms and the kidswitch in dark areas. For the cost this is a recommend for most all applications.

> 3 dayI used this to be able to still use the light switch after I built shelves over the switch. All you have to do is put a nail in the center of the arm so it can pivot on it. This is the only product Ive seen that does this since you can rotate the arm 90 degrees. Make sure you check the distance between the end of your shelf and the switch first, mine just barely fit

> 3 dayMy toddler is small. And I mean small. Hes 2yo size at 3yo. Which means potty training was a headache because he could never turn the light on. And itll probably be a good year before he can reach it. But with these, he can turn his bedroom and bathroom light on and off on his own. He loves the independence and it saves me the headache of constantly being up and down and up and down to turn the lights on and off. ESPECIALLY during night time trips to the potty.

23-11-2024I bought this because I was tired of my daughter whining about reaching the light switches. Id turn the lights on, and then she would leave a room without turning them off (because she couldnt reach the switch). Then she was using whatever she could find to stand on, which was becoming dangerous. I LOVE these because my daughter can ALWAYS reach the light switch now. Theyre solid white, so they no only match the plate, they also arent any colors Ill get tired of seeing. They also are non damaging since they are attached using one of the already existing screws from the switch plate. Ive bought 4 so far, but I plan to order more.

> 3 dayI teach 5 year olds and the caboose turns off the light. Not all the students are able to reach the switch and this extender has been perfect. I have had it for two months now with no problems. Love it!!

Greater than one weekWorks well for toddlers whom are gaining independence. My toddler now can turn on his bathroom light and use the potty by himself.
