23-11-2024Bought a 10# roll of Chicago 035 flux core many years ago and I finally ran out of it. Didnt know how bad it was until I worked with Lincoln wire. It works great. I will never change from it and its about the same price as other brands of wire and they may be good too, but Im sticking with Lincoln. I bought a Lincoln weld pack 100 back in 1998 and it has been a great welder for me. It does great with this wire. You wont be disappointed with this wire and Amazon has a great price on it too.

> 3 daySpend the money on this wire. Good Flux, better burn and flow. Skip the cheaper wire, unless you like cleaning up slag

> 3 dayGot a free Millermatic 175. (Im 30 yr stick welder). 1) Used H.F wire first and got alot of porosity and bad looking welds so I figured it was the wire. (steel was prepped properly 2) Got this roll of Lincoln innershield which was wayy better but still had some porosity and alot of spatter, so I just went back to the stick. 3)Tried Yeswelder wire because of a youtube video. The yeswelder is so much better. No porosity or spatter compared side by side on the same metal with the lincoln. However, maybe the lincoln roll I got was counterfeit repackaged H.F. wire.

> 3 dayThe reel they use will not fit a lot of welders in the 10lb size. They rec I cut off part of my welder to make it work, and I am not going to alter a 1500 dollar welder to make 50 dollar spool fit.
