Greater than one weekThis is good paint. There is better paint for more money, because there always is. And there is also horrible paint, because there always is. Like this starter set I ordered for my daughter just because I was cheap, and thought it will do for a kid. Boy was I wrong. Toothpaste is more vibrant than what we got there. You can go super fancy with artist paint. Some buy expensive, some mix their own with pigments, some make their own pigments, some are beyond paint because art is just an illusion and manifestation is not needed. Did I lost you? Hang on and please finish reading before you start searching for ‘Toothpaste Art’. I’m using this paint because it gives me the freedom to try things out. I’m not selling paintings anymore. What I paint goes either on my own walls or is gifted to friends. So the elders of art-materials won’t give me the look for using ordinary products. You can smear half a tube around without breaking the bank. Some colors don’t cover good enough for tiny details, but any stroke wider than a finger will work. The darker it gets, the better the opacity. Black is killing it, and I’m using it on so many things. I dilute it with water and isopropyl alcohol to dye wood on a budget, or straight out of the tube to black out paper, cardboard, or one dollar notebooks. So click a few colors into the shopping cart and spread the love. What I learned: You will be surprised how good kid’s art can look using proper paint. Parental guidance required. I hope it helps to make a decision.

> 3 dayDo you know what they say about people who have purple as a favorite color? Its almost a cult-like obsession with the color. Red fans, Blue fans, even pink fans are like, I prefer this color, but those of us who love Purple.... REALLY... freaking love Purple. As such, this paint can do no wrong. I actually use this brand in multiple colors and this was the second batch I bought in this particular shade due to running out mid project.

> 3 dayLiquitex Artist Acrylics are wonderful paints to work with on canvas or wood, and I use a lot of white. Most Liquitex colors mix well and rinse well. But if I am painting a rock or painting with my fingers, I reach for craft paints like Apple Barrel because they are thinner, and then I use a sealer after.

> 3 dayNot a quality paint. Plus it came loose in the box and the paint exploded and was on everything else in the box. The lid is painted shut so the only way to use it was to break the lid.

> 3 dayLiquitex Basics Acrylic Paints are my go to brand. Just my tips take it or leave them: I get more black and white acrylic paint and shades of brown green and blue. Orange and Yellows a little less, but always on hand. Red, will last you forever if you are mixing your own colors. So red less and red, although I suppose what you paint makes a difference. I paint portraits and landscapes. All skin colors are ratios of blue, red, and yellow. So learn how to mix colors. Get a fan brush, a palate, and spatula and set of decent brushes. Im not going to say which brand of brushes, because I have my favs from different makers -cheap to expensive. Anyway, you cant go wrong with Liquitex Basics Acrylic paints. The color and texture and drying time is consistent and predictable. Oh, and get a water bottle to keep your palate colors moist. I use the baby food plastic, square containers to keep my mixed colors that I use a lot of for a project. or you can cover your palate with a plastic wrap. Anyway, peace!

> 3 dayI LOVE THE LIQUITEX PYRROLE RED PAINT IT IS THE BRIGHTEST AND MOST COLORFUL RED THAT I LOVE TO USE WHEN PAINTING PICTURES THAT I WANT TO HAVE A TRUE RED COLOR TONE TO THE PAINTING. MOST RED PAINTS ARE DULL, LIFELESS AND OTHER VARIATIONS OF THE COLOR RED BUT PYRROLE RED IS MY HAPPY RED BECAUSE ITS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT MY RED PAINTINGS TO LOOK LIKE. ITS NOT DULL RED, OFF RED, DARK RED, PINKISH RED ETC ITS JUST A TRUE RED AND THE LIQUITEX PAINT GLIDES SO FREELY AND SMOOTHLY ON MY CANVASES. IVE BEEN PAINTING FOR YEARS AND ALTHOUGH OTHER BRANDS OF ACRYLIC PAINTS HAVE COLOR REDS NONE OF THEM COMES CLOSE TO THE ACTUAL COLOR RED LIKE PYRROLE RED BY LIQUITEX!
