The Little Giant scoops are perfectly sized for horse feeding. They have a bit of flex to them, but are made from an injected plastic that seems like it will hold up over time.

No problems so far has been a handy scoop

Can not find my old scoop for fertilizer. Hand design makes it easy and keeps my hands out of the fertilizer. RED will be easy to spot. And it is big! It will probably last me for the next 10 years.

Ive been using the Little Giant scoops for years for our horses and they are sturdy, easy to clean and the sticky molasses in some sweet feed horse grain mixes dont adhere as much to this plastic as in some of the other brand scoops. These three quart scoops actually hold exactly three pounds of dry pellet horse feed (like Strategy) if you fill the scoop almost to the brim.

Great price, nice and sturdy. I use it for scooping bait for animals, and it works great. As the description says, it is also blue (which was really the deciding factor for me).

Sometimes its hard to gauge the size of some items and I was pleasantly surprised to find that its quite large. I also like that once its filled you can stand it up on its own without tipping over.
