Little Tikes Cozy Truck Ride-On with removable floorboard

Greater than one weekMy grandson really enjoys playing in this truck. He is not strong enough to move it himself with his legs. He does however love riding in it with us pushing him. My only complaint is that the door to get in and out is very flimsy and it constantly falls off. You can wiggle and maneuver it to snap back in place , but I feel it’s a poor design and should not always come off.

> 3 dayWe just gave this to our 1 year old for Christmas and it is such a big hit. It took us less than an hour to put together (me and my husband) and the directions were so easy to follow. It is made of tough plastic so I dont see it getting damaged. We put a big bow on it under the tree and he walked right over to it and immediately starting playing with it. The whole day we kept saying this is by far the best Christmas gift ever... it glides so smooth with a little spot for parents to put their hands to push with ease. It looks adorable and is a good size that we could see him playing with it for years. I would also recommend this toy for girls too... I would have loved to have a truck to play house with or grocery store. It has the cutest little tailgate that our son throws all his toys into... once its closed it cant really open it because it requires a good tug but soon enough. The only con that we can see is the eyes on the truck are too high that they block his view of the road. So we just snapped them off and put them away to reattach them once he gets a little taller. Oh and the horn is like a very cute semi truck horn... not at all annoying. Plus it has cup holders and a gas cap when he needs to fill it up on diesel. Buy this toy its worth every penny... way cooler then the original cozy car!!!

> 3 dayMy only issue with this toy is that the door keeps falling off. My son leaned on it as he was climbing in and the door came off. My son ended up on his back and started screaming. But now he knows the door is suspect so he enters more cautiously.

> 3 dayI got this truck for my little guy for christmas and he loved it so much that he took forever to open his other gifts. I was afraid of ordering it online just in case we had assembly issues like other reviewers did but the pieces went together very easy, and my husband was done in no time, he only used a screw driver. The directions were simple and direct and it did look great once was completed. Its not as easy to push as a push car and a bit more challenging specially going down hill but I figure it will grow with my little guy and before long we will remove the floor board. The floor board and the handle are a great feature as it allows the parent to push the child around without risking dragging their little feet, the lock on the door is also a nice feature as little ones cant jump out of the moving vehicle. My little one was very comfortable in it with plenty of leg and head room, he loves to go beep, beep and the sound does not drives me crazy as some other horn sounds do. I like the fact that it has 2 cup holders, they are both located in the trunk, wish one was in the front so my little guy wouldnt have to turn his body to grab his cup but happy I have a place to put my water bottle. He usually takes a stuffed animal in the trunk also. I would recommend this truck for parents who are looking for either an alternative to the classic cozy cope or who wants to be able to push their child in a cool truck.

09-06-2025I need to take a break from building this thing... it’s a major pain. I finally got to the steering wheel and IT WONT GO IN I’m ready to throw it out the window. Or contemplating just not putting it on........ even though that’s the one part that makes sound. It’s literally the last step and it’s taken me the longest to do! On trial number 263926402 to get it in. The quality of the assembly sucks. I’d pay a little extra to have it shipped assembled even....... and I’m an engineer! I build things all the time. But this one sucks. It’s a shame because the truck itself is cute and I know these last a long time once assembled usually but I’m not confident in this one. Oh and step 1..... I put the door lock on. It definitely doesn’t work. Luckily my kid is old enough to not throw himself out the side door. Other cozy coupes and vehicles I’ve had the lock work just fine but for this one the door seems off a bit. The lock doesn’t catch the other side to latch. Overall I’m frustrated with this toy. I know if I ever get the stinking steering wheel in my kid will love it..... right now it’s just a big piece of plastic with wheels and cute stickers. Without that steering wheel I know my kid will be bummed.

> 3 dayThis truck is great. My son just loves it and gets upset when its time to go inside and put it up. He rides in it, pushes it around, loads up sticks and pinecombs in the bed to haul around the yard, seriously lots of fun. Its been very easy to push around even on our back yard that is a bit unlevel and has tree roots and pinecombs to deal with. It is steady enough that we can push it down a gentle hill and feel confident it wont topple over. And I just love how tall the roof is so parents can push it around without straining our backs. HOWEVER, we had the bum luck of being in the group of people with parts that just didnt fit. Getting this truck assembled was a 3-hour nightmare. It involved a hacksaw to make roof pieces finally fit together. Im a civil engineer who oversees marine construction and creates structural details on a regular basis and normally Im quite good at assembly projects. I was so thankful we had decided to put this Christmas gift together early and not on Christmas Eve night because it was simply awful. If I had purchased this at a local store I would most definitely have returned it. But since I bought it online and the cost or return shipping a large, heavy item would have put it out of our budget Im at least glad a hacksaw made things work.

Greater than one weekMy almost 3 year old got this from Santa. He absolutely loves it. I think its a good product for the sale price we paid, but a few things were a little disappointing. First and foremost it is a PAIN to put together. I guess I was naive thinking there would be less assembly. Never the less, it was the assembly of the roof that others also mentioned that was the major issue. We had to assemble differently than the instructions (we followed another raters recommendation to affix the pieces to the roof before affixing them to the jeep) because the holes that were cut were very rough and didnt match up well. Less of a concern was that there were scratches in the body of the jeep - like deep gauges in one place. Now I didnt inspect it before we assembled so I guess we couldve done it, but they are above the gas tank and not in a place where we were using tools. I think if we had done it we wouldve noticed. Also, the front wheels dont turn well on the hardwood in our house so my son gets frusterated especially if hes wearing socks trying to move around. The back wheels work well. If there were an option (even in a store) to have this assembled for us we would recommend that! We were up late xmas eve cursing this assembly but the look on his face of course always pays off!

> 3 dayAssembly was long but instruction were good. I would definitely suggest putting on face stickers BEFORE assembling as you cant get your fingers in there good and now eyes are crooked!! This was on sale so we were very happy about that! Grandsons love it and thats all that matters!!
