I got these combs for detangling my hair after shampooing. I don’t have as much hair as before due to aging. I therefore make extra effort to be as gentle as possible when detangling my hair in order to minimize hair loss. The teeth were gentle on the scalp. I was surprised at how large these combs are and the amount of space in between the teeth (measurements slightly larger than online description). Although it did make it easier to detangle my hair, I would have preferred a comb with slightly less distance between the teeth. I think these particular combs are better suited for curly or kinky hair. They are great sturdy combs, however, and not made of cheap flimsy plastic. For my purposes, I would give it a 4-star rating.

Nice comb for detangeling. The teeth are wide enough to detangle when wet or dry. The tail is great for parting without snapping your hair.

Love these wide tooth combs! I have incredibly long and thick hair, and the wide tooth comb really helps detangler my hair, especially when wet. I am also a big fan of the pointed end, as I use this end of the comb to create a perfect part line. Overall, while these aren’t the greatest quality, for $6.99 this three pack is a steal.

This comb is not flexible at all. It is my first experience with a comb of this type. I think that this is a good thing, especially for making parts and sectioning of hair. It does feel good in the hand and seems durable. Not bad at all for the price.

My two concerns were 1) something that would reach the back of my head & 2) something that wouldnt damage or break my thinning, fine hair. Im happy to say this comb filled both those needs. Some shoulder issues make it difficult for me to reach the back of my head to comb my hair but the length of this comb does that easily for me now. Im also not getting a comb full of hair due to the wide teeth that are gentle on my fine hair as well when my hair is wet or tangled. The comb is an ordinary looking comb but it is thick enough to feel sturdy in your hand so it detangles without bending. The wide teeth combs I have are all the size of normal combs & do the job but still difficult for reaching behind my head. This rat toothed comb is the answer for my needs so Im very pleased to have found it. Id recommend it for anyone having reach issues like me or for detangling hair without breaking or damaging it. Im very pleased with the comb.

The LLTGMV 3 pk wide tooth rat combs are unique. While I have owned similar combs, they are not usually as thick, and I like that these are wide tooth. These combs work great and are perfect for parting your hair and or braiding.

Some thinner combs feel way too flimsy, but these are made of some really durable material! I also love the pastel colors.
