I really like the wide spacing of the teeth, I have thick curly hair and I need to section out pieces to color it. This comb allows me to section without tangling the hair. I would definitely recommend this comb for the dying process. Additionally, I like that its super sturdy and not pliable so I feel like it will hold up for a long time.

Good value for these combs. These are very good quality and sturdy. Very good for detangling and for curly hair.

I got these combs for detangling my hair after shampooing. I don’t have as much hair as before due to aging. I therefore make extra effort to be as gentle as possible when detangling my hair in order to minimize hair loss. The teeth were gentle on the scalp. I was surprised at how large these combs are and the amount of space in between the teeth (measurements slightly larger than online description). Although it did make it easier to detangle my hair, I would have preferred a comb with slightly less distance between the teeth. I think these particular combs are better suited for curly or kinky hair. They are great sturdy combs, however, and not made of cheap flimsy plastic. For my purposes, I would give it a 4-star rating.

This comb was surprisingly strong. Its not a cheap run-of-the-mill plastic comb, its made of high-quality nylon and its very resilient, rather than cheap and brittle. Its worked well for detangling, and also for working with hair dye on home. The long pointed handle end is perfect for parting hair for use with hair dye. Love it!

This comb gets rid of tangles gently and easily and is very sturdy. Wide tooth. The colors are awesome. I started using it after I take a shower, and it has definitely helped to control frizz after my hair dries!

This review is for a Wide Tooth Rat Tail Comb. I got the comb for resetting the part in a free-parting wig. My other tools include a paddle brush or a wide tooth comb without a pick at the handle. Both make it difficult to separate the hair to make a part. This comb satisfactorily could cut through the hair and clearly separate the two halves to make a part. Unfortunately, the wig doesn’t have good memory and will need heavier tools with heat to bake the side part in. The rat-tail comb has been very helpful in getting it set up and ready for other tools. The comb itself has a matte finish, and no obvious seams from the plastic mold. I took one star in the detangling sub-category because the wide teeth are in my experience less effective than a good paddle brush. This comb (like all wide teeth combs) got some of the tangles but missed those that slipped between the teeth. Overall satisfied with it for the purposes I had in mind.

Ive been looking for a good wide-toothed comb to help with styling my wavy hair. This does a great job! I like to come through when my hair is wet before I add any product, and this went through my hair perfectly without getting my hair caught like other combs. The long handle sissy helps a lot with reach since my hair is a little longer. Highly recommend!

This is not a flimsy little comb, material is thick. Love the wide teeth & the tail makes it easier to part my oldest hair as hers is super thick. You wont get a super defined part but it will give you the start so you can use a smaller tooth parting comb to clean it up.
