> 3 dayI have used Loctite for years and mostly very successfully even with heavy industrial use. This sleeve retainer didnt work so well for me on a fairly simple fan to motor shaft sleeve. It wouldnt cure either by warming up both parts and/or attempting to let it setup for more than 24-hours. I was a bit disappointed with this product, I dont know it the clearance was too great for this particular job.

> 3 dayUsed this to repair a loose bearing race on a 78 yr old truck. Alternative was to find a new spindle. This worked great!

> 3 dayWorks well for my use, but wasnt perfect. I have a metal item with an attachment connected by a shallow but wide screw, and I wanted to make sure this never came unscrewed because there is never a reason to remove it. After letting it set a couple days, it was hard to turn but I was able to get some movement. Since it makes it much more difficult to unscrew, its still a lot better than before. I was just hoping it would be a bit more permanent.

> 3 dayIt worked well but has only been in service for a short time. Used it to fasten a Kitchen Aid dough mixer shaft to the drive. This is a slip fit with no mechanical retainer. It had been coming loose with each use. Now it has been used 4 times with no sign of looseness.

> 3 dayTried to use to secure a bushing in an output extension housing of a truck transmission. Old bushing was spinning in its bore. Supposed to be a press fit. Researched this problem and discovered this product. Followed directions. First cleaned and degreased housing and bushing mating surfaces with BrakeClean. Then applied the Loctite to both surfaces and installed the bushing with a twisting motion. Instructions state the product will set up in 1hr and fully cure after 24hrs. I had the assembly in my house at 72* and after 24hrs product was just as wet as when I installed it. Removed bushing and recleaned , not sure what to do now.

Greater than one weekNot much to say, Loctite is great stuff. Do your research before you buy because there are many variants depending on your particular needs. I work at a bicycle shop and we needed this stuff for a repair, nobody in town carried it. Amazon Prime saved the day.
