Loctite Threadlocker 242, 50mL Bottle, Blue

Works as expected.

When the bottle first arrived I thought something was wrong as the bottle was only half full. When you look up the product on YouTube, there’s an official video explaining that the air in the bottle is by design. The thread locker cures in the absence of oxygen, so the air actually keeps it from curing. Worked well on air compressor lines, great product.

This stuff is junk. Its like water, doesnt work at all, never dries. Waste of money. Find some other product.

Best value out there and pin point dispensing tip give me good control with applications.

Bottle is quite large, but the product is over half empty, just fill the bottle and charge more, or shrink the bottle and stop being misleading. It gets a middle of the road review because of this issue. The loctite itself works well, no issues there.

Loctite 242 was the only thing that was able to seal the threads on my air compressor (up to 125 psi). I tried Blue Monster teflon tape and Blue Monster pipe compound, but both leaked right away when put under pressure. Then 242 came to the rescue and sealed it up tight, no more leaks. Love this stuff.

Works best for bolts you may need to remove without heat

I keep a tube of this on my workbench and use it for all is it for all my projects and hobbies, once you put this on there you know the nut or screw will stay in place.

Ive used this many times before and have always relied on it to hold bolts or screws in their threads. This worked exactly like all of the previous ones. Holds great!
